Anaheim, California Election Returns Incomplete returns of Tuesday's election in San Francisco, received yesterday, indicate the election of Taylor for mayor and Langdon for district attorney by large majorities. Votes counted up to midnight of the day of election probably total in the neighborhood of 6000. Taking these votes from scattered precincts as a basis for estimates, the total vote is placed at 59,000, divided as follows: Taylor 28,740, McCarthy 18,250, Ryan 9000, Reguin 3000. The same percentages has run through all the precincts heard from with great regularly except in the few Mission precincts which are hotbeds of McCarthyism, there he receiving a heavy vote. Elsewhere, throughout Dr. Taylor received as many votes as McCarthy and Ryan combined. Johnson is re-elected mayor land, Tammany defeats fusion York. Returns from many easter show a republican sweep. The same percentages has run through all the precincts heard from with great regularly except in the few Mission precincts which are hotbeds of McCarthyism, there he receiving a heavy vote. Elsewhere, throughout Dr. Taylor received as many votes as McCarthy and Ryan combined. Langdon polled a vote larger than Taylor and probably the whole Good Government Board of Supervisors is elected. One of the largest votes on the ticket will be polled by Lawrence Dolan for sheriff, running against Sheriff O'Neill, who has resisted all efforts toward reform, failed to find Abe Ruef when he was indicted and has shown favors to Schmitz. The Bulletin, in an extra edition late tonight, declared that Taylor's plurality would be 8000, and that Dist.-Atty. Langdon would defeat Frank McGowan by 10,000 to 12,000. Incomplete returns from 240 precincts out of 273 in this city had been received at midnight. These gave Taylor for mayor 3347, McCarthy 2079; Ryan 1105. District Attorney Langdon 4140, McGowan 2273. This indicates the election of almost the entire Good Government city and county ticket, including mayor, district attorney, board of supervisors, treasurer, assessor, tax collector, recorder, city attorney, public administrator, sheriff, coroner and two police judges. The Union Labor party may have saved its incumbents in the offices of auditor and county clerk. Kentucky goes republican, Tom Mrs. Geo. L. Wagner has made application to the superior court for letters of administration upon the estate of her recently deceased husband.
