A dairy ranch at La Mirada, consisting of 295 acres, has been sold to S. W. Beals of Whittier for $120,000.
Roman Wisser and J. Hahn left on Saturday for a week's recreation trip in Trabuco canyon.
A. C. Pearson, secretary of the West Anaheim Water Co., was in town on Saturday on a business mission.
W. J. Montgomery, manager of the Botsford walnut ranch, is installing a new pumping plant on the place.
Mrs. Yorba and daughters, Misses Mattie and Ubania Yorba, are sojourning at the Capistrano springs.
Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Fuller and Miss Claire Nicolas drove down to Capistrano springs in a Cadillac on Sunday.
Henry Westerman took his departure on Monday afternoon for eastern Kansas. He will be absent two or three months.

Answer to the complaint has been filed in the superior court in the case of the city vs. Mrs. Kate desGranges to condemn property on Broadway for widening purposes. Defendant asks for $1000—$600 for the property and $400 damages.
Articles of incorporation of the Salem church of the Evangelical association of Anaheim have been filed. The purposes of the church are the "promotion of the interests of religion in our midst and the spread of the scriptural holiness throughout the world." Trustees are Justin Schneider, William Pannier and Robert Hansen.
