WHITE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AT WHITE TEMPLE LAST NIGHT
A beautiful Christmas program was given last night at the White Temple on West Broadway. A white Christmas was celebrated. Instead of receiving gifts, each department gave appropriate gifts which will be distributed among the poor today. The gifts consisted of outing flannel gowns, breakfast foods, canned goods, potatoes, sheets, pillow cases, candles, apples and nearly two tons of flour. There was a beautiful Christmas tree, with all the trimmings and after the excellent program, bogs or nuts and candies were given to the children.
