less murder was brought in by messenger yesterday from the ice region of Wager's Bay, thirty miles east of the Hudson Bay trading post—nearly five months after the quintuple tragedy occurred.
The story was that Otto Binder, a trader, became enamored of a woman whose husband and father agreed to find him a wife. They went to a hut and found a woman and killed her husband. The skiln man's cousin killed the other woman's husband and father. The cousin then slew the other woman whose husband and father had sought to save her, leaving an orphan girl. The orphan then was strangled to death by one of the "headmen" of the district.
He is a mean man who withholds from his wife the praise that it due her.
