MAGICIAN TO PERFORM AT HIGH SCHOOL MONDAY (Contributed by High School Students) Burndell Ford, noted electrical experimenter, will give a performance for high school students Monday morning at 9:40 e'clock at the regular weekly assembly. Mr. Ford gave his program at the Chautauqua last year. He does not claim to be a magician but his performance is scientific and he explains how every trick is done. The apparatus used in the performance is of his own design and construction. The demonstration will include high frequent currents, with which Mr. Ford can light a candle from the end of his nose and weld two pieces of iron together by the current through his body. He will also show how ships may be controlled by wireless and an original experiment with the Outija board . Mr. Ford's explanations are plain and entertaining. The entrance charge will be ten cents for students and twenty-five cents for outsiders. Will Hold Bazaar The annual Christmas bazaar of the high school will be held December 16 in the afternoon and evening. The entertainment feature will be a vaudeville performance at 3:30 and 8:30 e'clock. It will include several clever acts by high school talent provided by the dramatic classes. Every department of the school is putting forth its best efforts to make the affair a success. Articles from the mechanic, domestic science, art, history and English classes will be on sale.
