THANKSGIVING DINNER AT BRUNSWICK HOME Mr. and Mrs. Brunswick and daughter Miss Gene Brunswick, entertained with a Thanksgiving dinner last night the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Kratzer of Long Beach, Miss Henning, Mr. and Mrs. Clegel and family, Miss Martha Henning, Mr. and Mrs. John Newman, Mr. Allen, Mr. Henry Henning, Mr. Walter Henning, Mr. Herbert Allen of Huntington Beach, Miss Dorothy Newman. The evening was spent in games, music and dancing. Decorations were in the violet shades. STRINGED TRIO AT BOARD OF TRADE The Walberg Stringed Trio gave several numbers at the Fullerton Board of Trade meeting Wednesday at Fullerton and were received with a large applause. Those in the trio are Ida Schrode, cello; Clarn Schaaf, piano; and Harold Walberg, violin. JOE WAGNER HOME SCENE OF DINNER Mrs. Joe Wagner of Placentia entertained with a family dinner yesterday. The guests were Mr. Joe Pruitt, Mr. Joe Wagner, Miss Frances Schmidt and daughter. They enjoyed the afternoon with music and motoring. MR. AND MRS. PAUL MARTIN ENTERTAIN Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martin were hosts yesterday to a family dinner to the relatives living in Orange County. At 12 o'clock the dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Latimer of Santa Ana, Miss Latimer, daughter, of Anaheim, Mr. R. Martin and daughter Lois and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martin. Motoring was enjoyed in the afternoon. DINNER YESTERDAY AT MEETING MUSIC SECTION OF EBELL TO MEET The Music Section of the Anaheim Ebell society will meet Saturday with Mrs. William Falkenstein on East Broadway. An interesting meeting will be held at this time and every member is cordially invited by the hostess to be present. The time is 2:30 o'clock. OUT OF TOWN GUESTS ENTERTAINED YESTERDAY Misses Margaret Hampton and Peggy Humeston entertained with an informal dinner party for four yesterday at their apartment at the Colonial. Covers were laid for Misses Alta Nixon of Los Angeles and Mackey West and the hostesses. After the dinner the group attended the California theater. Miss West is visiting in Anaheim for a few days. She has been teaching at Bakersfield for the past few months and took this opportunity to come south and see her friends. She will return the first of the week. L. R. RAINS HOME SCENE OF DINNER Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Rains entertained with a delicious Thanksgiving dinner Thursday honoring sixteen of their relatives and friends. The table was centered with a basket of fruit, a symbol of the season. After dinner the time was spent with games and music. THANKSGIVING AT McCORD HOME Mr. and Mrs. A. B. McCord entertained with a family dinner yesterday at their home on South Los Angeles street. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. George McCord of Los Angeles, father and mother of Mr. McCord, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Easton of Hollywood, sister of Mr. McCord, Walter McCord, brother. FAMILY DINNER AT BELL HOME The Bell and Hapgood home on the Garden Grove road was the scene of a family reunion Thursday when they entertained with a Thanksgiving dinner. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Hapgood, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Hapgood, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Bailey, Charlotte Hapgood, Winifred Hapgood. This is the first time that the family has been together for twenty-five years and a good time was enjoyed talking over old times. Harrison Sidnam, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hathaway and Mrs. Canby. A social time was enjoyed in the afternoon. They attended the evening performance at the California theater, "The Crossing Trails," which Mr. Caldwell was connected with. A midnight luncheon was enjoyed after theater. PICNIC AT ORANGE COUNTY PARK A delightful picnic was enjoyed at Orange County Park yesterday when a group of relatives and friends left early for the resort to spend the day. They enjoyed a picnic spread at 12 o'clock. In the afternoon hiking and other amusements were enjoyed. Those in the party were Mr. and Mrs. L. Goble, Miss Pauline Boyich of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Clark and children, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Clark and son, Mr. and Mrs. William Richter of Santa Ana. The party returned to Anaheim in the evening and spent the remainder of the time at the A. E. Clark residence with music and games. FAMILY DINNER AT TEDRICK HOME Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Tedrick were hosts yesterday to a family dinner at their country home near Orange. The guests arrived at the home at an early hour and spent the time socially. At 12 o'clock a Thanksgiving dinner was served. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weisel and son, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tedrick and son, Mr. and Mrs. Findlay, Miss Charlyn Terick. GENEVA, OHIO, PICNIC THANKSGIVING The Geneva, Ohio, people met yesterday at Bixby Park, Long Beach, to enjoy Thanksgiving together. There were thirty-five present from this town with everyone present enjoying a good time. The program of the day was the reviving of old friendships and games. At noontime a basket luncheon was enjoyed. At this time a picture was taken of the group by Mr. Haynes, also a former Ohio man. Those attending from Anaheim were Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Spencer, Miss Mildred Spencer, Cullen Spencer, Clayton Allan, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Beeeman, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Spencer. SAN SOUCI CLUB AT DAUSER HOME Tuesday afternoon Mrs. Frank Dauser was hostess to the San Souci Card club at her home on east Commonwealth when an afternoon of "500" was enjoyed. The hostess served appetizing refreshments which was a pleasing climax to the pleasant gathering. The high score was won by Mrs. James B. Welch; second highest by Mrs. L. Wright, while the consolation was captured by Mrs. W. P. Quarton of Anaheim. Mrs. Roy Davis will be hostess to the club at their next meeting. The club is composed of sixteen ladies, they meeting every two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stone entertained with a Thanksgiving dinner last night, honoring Jerome Stone, whose birthday was Thursday. A delicious dinner was served at 6:30 o'clock, followed with an evening at cards.
