MISS SCHUMACHER QUEST AT SHOWER
Miss Vera O'Rourke was hostess last night to the Chat en Seau. The time was passed sewing, and at music. During the evening Miss O'Rourke announced to Miss Frances Schumacher that the girls were sure she would be in need of string in her married life, so she was given the end of a string to wind.
After several minutes of this strenuous work she found an electric toaster at the end of the string, a gift from the girls.
Ices and dainty cakes were served by the hostess. The members present were Mrs. H. K. Boyd, Mrs. Ruth Ward, Misses Frances Schumacher, Ivelyn and Lillian Degryse, Valle Iember, Mrs. Emma O'Rourke and Mrs. Z. Lane.

While in the north Mrs. Van Horn visited friends at Marysville where she was entertained elaborately by four generations of her family. It seemed good to her to be among her old friends once more.
The ladies report a wonderful time at the Rebekah assembly and returned to their local lodge with interesting reports of the trip and meetings. The total mileage of the trip ran close to 1080 miles. The trip was made in Bird V. Beebee's car.

Following the games a dainty two course luncheon was served to Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Houts, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hedges, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Martinet and Walter Hansen and Miss Bate.
