Peace Pilgrim Tells Story of Her Pilgrimage for World, Inner Peace to Daily Bulletin Staff Member "It was 21 years ago that I found inner peace, a peace which has driven fear and hate from my mind—a peace which I believe is the major ingredient for world peace." Stating this change in her life, Peace Pilgrim, a God-given name to a silver-haired, slender woman said—"when you find inner peace with God, you feel ageless, you have energy like the air, free and forever." "I am walking 25,000 miles for world peace, with God giving me the strength and understanding to do this dedicated work. As I travel, I stop wherever I see people and tell them my story. "I find people wonderful, interesting and good. Their imagination is caught by my attire, my age, which is an unimportant factor, and my statement. It is that since I have had inner peace with God I know his direction in my work. I have been in excellent health, this is due to the fact that I enjoy breathing clean air, I am continually exercising, and my food is simple." Peace Pilgrim further states, "I shall always remain a wanderer. I walk until I am given shelter. My food comes from those who enjoy sharing. I have only missed four consecutive meals at one time. Even then hunger does not seem to come to me. This I believe is as God wills."
