Popular Glee Club to Sing at Patrick Henry PTA Meeting
The Patrick Henry Glee Club under the direction of Frank Robles, presented such a stirring program in December that they have been invited back, by popular request, to entertain when the Patrick Henry Parent teacher Association meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The P.T.A. plans to sponsor a Cub Scout group and have asked Fred Allison, commissioner of the Southern District of Boy Scouts, to speak on that subject and to answer questions from the interested parents.
Another highlight of the evening will be a talk by Robert Shanks, superintendent of Elementary Schools in Anaheim.
An award has been offered for the room turning in the most papers for the paper drive to be held Saturday, April 18. Each bundle of papers is to be marked with the number of the room that is to be credited.
The date for the next hot dog sale has been set for April 15, it was announced by Mrs. Richard Carpenter, ways and means chairman.
There will be an all school family potluck dinner for Patrick Henry patrons to be held at the Horace Mann cafeteria at 6:30 on April 23. Coffee, bread and butter will be furnished. Each family is requested to bring their own place settings plus (A through I), salad, vegetable, potatoes; (J through S), meat dishes, casseroles; (T through Z), desserts.
California Public Schools Week will be April 27 through May 1. All rooms at Patrick Henry will be open Monday April 27 from 7:30 to 9. To see the school in action, parents are invited to come during the day any day of the week but are requested to stop in the office before visiting the rooms.
Police Wives Present Spring Fashion Show
About 250 members and guests viewed the fashion show at Harris' Restaurant, put on by the Anaheim Police Officers Wives'. A selection of fashions were presented by the SQR Store. The narrator was Jean Niles. The door awards were donated by the many Anaheim merchants.
This report was given at the April meeting. It was a lot luckier than expected.

Fashion Show

This report was given at the April meeting. It was a pot luck dinner for members and their husbands.
The May 6 meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the recreation room above Home Savings and Loan building. The club will be given a first birthday party by this years officers. Elections will also be held at this time.
Transportation can be arranged by calling Mrs. James Gardner at JE 7-6739. All wives of Anaheim Police Officers are urged to attend.

DAC Women Get New Name for Chapter
Hannah Hatch Chapter, Daughters of the American Colonists, has been officially granted its new name by the National Society, DAC. It was formerly known as the Anaheim or Orange County Chapter.
The chapter was named in honor of its first regent, Mrs. Robert J. R. Gallager of Anaheim, and for the wife of her Colonial ancestor, Samuel Utley, who came to America in 1643, and was a settler and land owner in Scituate, Mass.
For six generations the Hatch Family had lived in Sandwich, County Kent, England, and in 1834 William Hatch and his wife, Jane, with their six children and six servants, boarded the ship "Hercules" and set sail for America. Hannah grew to young womanhood in Scituate, where her father was a merchant, planter and road surveyor. He was a Lieutenant in the Militia and the first ruling elder in the Second Church of Scituate.
Mrs. Gallager, a direct descendant through her father, Charles Edgar Utley, is a native of Texas, but was educated in California, attending UCLA and USC and majoring in history and art. She is also first vice-regent of Mojave Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Fullerton, on the line of Captain James Utley of Conn.
Elections Held
Election of officers took place at the April meeting of the Hannah Hatch Chapter, when it met at the Royal Hawaiian Restaurant in June.
Disney PTA To Install New Officers
Wait Disney School Parent-Teacher Association members will witness the installation of new officers for the coming year at the April meeting. It will be held in the multi-purpose room of the school tomorrow night at 7:45.

Elections Held

Three guests, Mrs. Robert Mel-sheimer of Anaheim, Mrs. Sam Robinson of Huntington Beach, and Mrs. Orlando Abaire of Orange attended. Guest speaker was Mrs. C. W. Drake of Whittier, the national defense chairman for the state. State Regent, Mrs. Carl Barley, also of Whittier, guest of hon-or at the luncheon meeting, gave report on the State Assembly held at San Jose. She said 27 chapters were represented.

Triple F Birthday Observed
The Triple F Club celebrated its 17th birthday with a gathering at the home of retiring president—Mrs. Melvin Hilgenfeld, 804 W. Broadway.

Second-grade room mothers will hostess a refreshment period.
Installation of officers took place with Mrs. Donald Bratt of Huntington Beach conducting. Serving for the coming year will be Mrs. Charles Bradd, president; Mrs. Robert Davis, vice-president; Mrs. Carl Robertson, secretary; Mrs. Herman Lenz, treasurer; Mrs. Cecil Rail, devotionals; Mrs. Joe Kaska, publicity; and Mrs. Mildred Baldwin, historian.
Guests attending the meeting were Mrs. Leonard Schwacofer and Mrs. Lois Ott of Hemet, and Mrs. Walter Frey and Mrs. Lawrence Myers of Fullerton.
Assisting the hostess were her two daughters, Marjorie and Ruth, and club members Mrs. James Taylor and Mrs. Mildred Baldwin.
The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ralph Focht, club advisor, 507 S. Citron St.
