Cypress Church Adopts Sunday School Program
A new church and Sunday School program has been adopted by the Cypress Church of the Nazarene. Two sessions of both church and Sunday School are being held with good attendance being reported. The members of the congregation are at liberty to choose which one they want to attend.
The early Sunday School session starts at 8:45 and regular classes will be held for those through high school age. These classes will be dismissed at 9:45 and the second class will operate at the usual time. 9:45 to 10:45. Worship services will take place from 8:45 to 9:45 and 10:45 to 12 noon.
With this schedule, Rev. G. W. Abersold, pastor, explains that families will be able to attend both Sunday School and church and be out by 10:45.
The church buses will also make two runs. In the way of transportation, the church has also inaugurated a new plan. The pastor, knowing the needs of the various families in his congregation, has delegated "car pastors" who not only furnish transportation but also can keep in closer touch with their passengers and their needs. This has been increasingly difficult for the Rev. Abersold with the tremendous growth of the church.

The question "Are Sin, Disease, Death Real?" propounded in title as well as the text of the non-sermon in all Christian churches Sunday, emphasizes the allness of God, and necessity of uncovering error from the 36th chapter of Job be heard, "Behold, God is holy, and despiseth not any... withdraweth not his eyes from righteous. And if they be found in fetters, and be holden in its affliction; Then he shew them their work, and their insignations that they have exiled. He openeth also their ear discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity" (36:8-10).
In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy states, "If God, the in-all, be the creator of the spiritual universe, including man, on everything entitled to a classification as truth, or Science, must comprise in a knowledge or understanding of God, for there can be nothing beyond illimitable divinity."
