NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the City Council of the City of Anaheim at the Office of the City Clerk on to the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M. on the 26th day of July, 1955, and will be opened on said date at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M. at a public meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, State of California, to be held in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, at said time and place, for furnishing the following: All plant, labor, services, materials (except those to be furnished by the City, as set forth in the specification and equipment, including power, fuel and water, and perform all work necessary to construct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, the following public improvement, to wit; The construction, installation and completion of a sixteen (16) inch steel cylinder-concrete water line, with valves, fittings and all appurtenances, extending from the intersection of Crone and Euclid Avenue westerly along Crone Avenue to Nutwood Street, thence northerly along Nutwood Street to Orange Avenue westerly along Orange Avenue to Magnolia Avenue. Eight hours shall constitute a day's work, it being understood that in the event that workmen are employed less than eight hours per day the per diem wage shall be that fraction of the per diem wage herein established that the number of hours of employment bears to eight hours. The successful bidder and any subcontractor and contractors employed by him in the performance of said work or any part of the work of said public improvement will be required to use only such manufactured articles, materials and supplies as have been mined or produced in the United States, and only such manufactured articles, materials and supplies as have been manufactured in the United States substantially all from articles, materials and supplies mined, produced or manufactured, as the case may be, in the United States pursuant to the provisions of Sections 4300 to 4305, both inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
