Funeral Notices
SEVADRA, Mrs. Helen A., 40, 817 North Janss, died this morning at the Orange County hospital. She leaves her husband, Selix; one son, Robert; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Pavan; Miss Mary and Miss Jennie Sevadra, all of Anaheim; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cuvas, Arizona; Mrs. Carmern Sevadra, Anaheim and one grandchild. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars chapel with Mass at St. Boniface Catholic church. Friday at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
HURLEY, Mrs. Jessie, 22, 3991 South Dalton, Los Angeles, died at the Los Angeles General hospital July 2. She was a native of Ohio. Her son, Charles E. Hurley of Anaheim is her only survivor. Private services were conducted at the Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars mortuary today at 2 p.m. The Rev. Al Casebeer officiating. Interment was in Fairhaven cemetery.
KUNKEL, Ludwig C., 85, who died last Friday at his home at 10131 Trask, Garden Grove, was buried from the Honold Funeral parlor in Garden Grove today at 2 p.m. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Park. The deceased was a native of Poland, He leaves two sons, Earl of Los Angeles and Elmer of Garden Grove, one daughter, Mrs. Alice Brougher of Garden Grove; four brothers, Dan and William of Vacaville; Paul of Sacramento, Gus of San Francisco, two sisters, Mrs. Martha Pettle of Lakeport, and Mrs. Lillian Holmes of San Francisco.
URIARTE, Lupe Garcia, 57, a native of Mexico who was brought to California as a child and who for 13 years has lived at 7001 Ninth St., Buena Park, died Saturday fornoon at the Cottage Hospital in Fullerton. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Uriarte; four sons, Manuel G., Jesus G., Frank G., and Roland G.; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Trejo and Miss Juliana C. Uriarte all of Buena Park; three brothers, Joe Garcia of Santa Ana, Adrian Garcia of Brea and Julian Garcia of Norwalk and ten grandchildren. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic church of Buena Park. There will be a recitation of the Holy Rosary by Father Frederick Kass at the Hilgenfeld chavel tonight at 7 o'clock. Mass will be read at St. Pius Church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock and burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
NAGEL-Mrs. Aurelia, died Saturday at her home, 112 West Ash. Fullerton. Services are to be held at the McCormick Mortuary chapel in Fullerton Wednesday, 2 p.m. with entombment at Melrose Abbey. Other than her husband, George, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hazlett of Pasadena.
GEIS, Miss Helen D., 85, of 327 East Chartres St., died on June 27. She leaves one brother, Silas W. Geis, Ph.D. of 385 Besserer Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Can. Miss Geis was a graduate of Stanford University, a member of the National and California Retired Teachers Associations and had lived in Orange County for many years. She taught Spanish and science subjects and had held positions in Santa Ana High School, Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles and had lived in Buena Park, La Habra and Fullerton recently. Ernest Ganahl of Anaheim was one of her pupils.
HUTSON, Lillie J., 81, a native of Indiana but a resident of South California for 38 years, died yesterday morning at the Orange Sanitarium at 298 South Batavia St., after a prolonged illness. WOERZ, Carl William, a chaplain of the Salemn Evanical church, now known as Evangelical United Brethren church, a native of Ulm, Germany on the Danube, born March 1871, died at the Chapman He Rest Home at 238 South Flowery Orange, Saturday afternoon, and an extended illness. He was a son of William L. and Martha R. Woerz and received his religious vocational training in Germany and after three years of apprenticeship, he went to Bern, Switzerland where he was a contract builder. At the age of 22 he co-ruled America and settled in Jo Mich., where he was married Elizabeth Harfman of Mariau C.Hessen, Germany. They had two children, Ralph C. Woerz of King Hills, Calif., Paul F. Woerz West Los Angeles and Carla Woerz of San Dimas; Mrs. Estep Pope of Glendale. There are eight grandchildren: Mrs. Ellizabal Woerz died April 3, 1943. Woerz held his membership for more than 60 years in the local church.

Prellan Van Nuys, and they made their home at 313 West Broadway, A helm. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hilgenfeld chapel morrow at 2 p.m.; the Rev. Alander McCandless, pastor of Evangelical-United Brethren church, to officiate. He will be sited by the Rev. S.F. Hilgenfeld Burial will be in the family park in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Glendale.

HUTSON, Lillie J., 81, a native of Indiana but a resident of South California for 38 years, died yesterday morning at the Orange Sanitarium at 298 South Batavia St., after a prolonged illness. Her home was at 5897 Converse Ave., Los Angeles, but she had been with her son at 10072 South Gilbert Ave. She is survived by one son, Elbert O. Hutson; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Sanders of Indiana; two grandsons, Charles E. Hutson and Ray Hutson both of Anaheim and one great grand-daughter. Funeral services will be conducted from Grace Chapel in Inglewood Park cemetery, Thursday at 2 p.m. with burial in the family plot. Hilgenfeld mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
PULLMAN, Albert, 76, a native of Iowa, who had spent 15 years in South California, two years in Anaheim, living at 532 South Ohio St., died very unexpectedly yesterday forenoon in the back yard of the home. He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Pullman; one daughter, Mrs. Georgia Rath of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one son, Donald K. Four Persons Killed In County Accidents

Rios, 22, 7097 Vista, Anaheim, and passenger Manuel Dominguez, 31, 7062 Vista, were rushed to Orange County Hospital. The latter had major injuries; Rios, minor.

Notice is hereby given to all freeholders in the Third Road District that the hearing of the petition of Mrs. Gladys Johnson, et al., filed on June 21, 1855, for the abandonment of the hereinafter described Unnamed Road in the Third Road District in Orange County, California, has been set for Tuesday, the 26th day of July, 1855 at 2:30 o'clock, P.M., at the room of the Board of Supervisors in the Court House at Santa Ana California.

Stanton Tract, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 5, Maps 23 and 24, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, bounded on the North by the Westerly prognation of the North line of said Lot 9 and bounded on the South by the Northerly right-of-way line of Carritos Avenue, thirty (30) feet in width, being fifteen (15) feet on each side of the center line.
