Its 63rd annual attracts Lorraine Revell Elected YLI Head; Installation Scheduled for July 19 at IOOF Temple At the YLI meeting held Monday evening in the IOOF temple, officers were elected for the year 1954-55: Past President, Mary Jean Lambert; President, Blanche Hudson; First Vice President, Lorraine Revell; Second Vice President, Opal Rimpau; Recording Secretary, Margaret Block; Financial Secretary, Betty Dailey; Treasurer, Mary Catherine Worden; Trustees, Ruth Johnson, Maxine Pitzer, Frances McVavan, Helen Osborn; Marshal, Leta Mae Smith; Organist, Bonnie Jollsaint; Inside Sentinel, Glennna Ranker; Outside Sentinel, Anne Treanor. Delegates elected to Grand Convention, which will convene in Long Beach, July 10 to 17 were: Blanch Hudson, Lorraine Revell with Margaret Block and Betty Dailey alternates. Formal installation is slated for July 19 at the IOOF temple. Reservations for the banquet and breakfast at Grand convention are to be made with Anne Treanor, KE-5-5274. Closing date is June 25. Kay Doller was appointed chairman of "Knott's Berry Farm Night", July 12. Members wishing to assist as hostesse are to contact her KE-5-4298. Grand "Prexy" to Vitt Thursday evening, June 17, the grand president, Miss Kay Flor of Stockton, will make her official visit to Ananeim Institute. There will also be formal initiation of new members. A dinner in the IOOF Hall at 6:30 p.m. will precede the meeting. Reservations are to be made with Margaret Block, KE-5-6941 by June 15. Announcement was made that all officers are to meet in the Ebell Clubhouse in Fullerton, Monday, June 14 at 8 p.m. The meeting on June 17 will be joint session with Corpus Christi Institute in Fullerton. It will be held in the IOOF Temple. Report was made by Virginia Mulligan on the National Shrine in Washington, D.C. The goal has not yet been reached, and members are asked to contact Lorraine Revell, KE-5-6791 if they wish ticket contributions on the awards, the proceeds to go into the National Shrine Fund. Proceeds from another gift will be given to St. Jude's hospital. Tickets on this lamp may be obtained from Opal Rimpau. KE-5-5274. Slate Communion Spiritual chairman, Marie Martin, announced that the quarterly Communion Sunday for YLI members, will be Sunday, June 27 at the 7 o'clock Mass in St. Boniface church.
