Saturday night (7) 6:00, at the Indianapolis Coliseum where 8th ranked Joltin Joe Miceli (43W, 16L, 4D, 23KO's) meets busy Al Andrews (26W, 6L, 1D, 3KO's) in a middleweight ten, the judges will announce their scores at the end of each round.
The legion of arm-chair judges who enjoy matching scores with the ringside officials should find this round-by-round check an aid to better home scoring. On the other hand, it may ruin that wonderful suspense of waiting for the banner to be announced. This is strictly an experiment. Do you do or do you don't like it?
FRIDAY, MAY 28
7:00 (7) — fightView: Charlie Norkug (23W, 11L, 16KO's), 25-year-old ex-Marine, meets Tommy Hurricane Jackson (15W, 2L, 1D, 5KO's) in a heavyweight ten from Madison Square Garden. As the record shows, Norkug can stop the show with one punch. But Jack-ann is pressing; windmill-type fighter who gives an opponent little opportunity to throw that "one punch" and is himself quite capable of sending the crowd home early—he turned the lights out on Rex Layne and Dan Bucceroni in six rounds each!
8:15 (9) — Baseball: Tom Harmon and Lyle Bond on mike as Bragan sends Bowman (5-5) for Hollywood against the San Diego Padres.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2
7:00 (2) — fightView: From the St. Louis Arena, the ex-world lightweight champion Jimmy Carter (65W, 17L, 8D, 26KO's) meets unrated Chillie! Charley Lilley (63W, 2L, 1D, 54KO's), a St. Louis featherweight. This is a last minute substitute for the Carter—DeMarco co-title bout which was postponed due to Paddy's illness, and it's a little difficult to understand why they would match an unrated featheweight with the boy who is an odds-on favorite to regain the heavier world's lightweight crown.
