Officers were chosen for the next year, with Miss Schaeffler elected president and Mrs. Ralph Barnes vice president. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Following a delicious dinner all went for a motor trip over the county, and upon returning home passed the time in music. Mr. McDonnell is a violinist of ability and a member of the Shrine orchestra in Los Angeels. The day was a very happy one and many were the jolly remembrances and news of the old-time friends recounted. He emphasized the purpose of the Hi-Y club to create, maintain and extend thruout school and community high standards of Christian character. Jonn H. Rudd, new director of the Y. M. C. A., yesterday accompanied a committee of boys to request Warren Ashleigh to continue as leader of the Hi-Y club. Ashleigh consented to do this.
