New Chevrolet Distributor Manual
The Knapp-Lewis Motor Co. of Santa Ana is now the authorized Cheyrolet distributor for the southern part of the county. The firm has taken over the garage and building formerly occupied by the Pashley Motor Co. They have added considerable machinery to take care of trouble that might overtake a Cheyrolet owner. The back shop has been thoroughly overhaulied and has ample space to take care of any Cheyrolet service that a Cheyrolet owner might want. The Knapp-Lewis Motor Co. has a large stock of parts on hand at all times; in fact the largest stock of parts in the county. So are in a position to ship parts anywhere at very short notice.
They have on display now the new Chevrolet, which is causing considerable interest among the automobile public. The new car is such an improvement over the previous models. The new disc clutch is one of the biggest improvements. It makes the car so much easier to handle and it is almost impossible to strain a gear in changing. This appeals to ladies. The change in the springs is another feature. They now have the semi-elliptic spring, which makes a wonderful easy riding automobile. The bodies have been changed some, with all models having the Duco finish, which makes the finish of the car more lasting.
An additional feature is found in the rear axle construction, the housing being of one piece and provided with an inspection to ensure quick adjustment or repair to the differential; also with this type of construction the replacement of any part, including axle shaft, without disassembling the unit.
The deep and luxurious upholstery of the highest quality material, together with the resilient high quality springs, make the new Chevrolet a most comfortable vehicle.
