Washington is distributing a blank to all farmers and ranchers within the next few days, which they are requested to fill out correctly and hold in their possession until the census enumerator calls for them.
The blanks will not be mailed but the rural postal carriers will place them in the boxes or pass them out as occasion calls. The answers are sought to compile a United States census of Agriculture for the calendar year of 1924. The information is strictly confidential under all circumstances and will not be used as a basis of taxation nor communicated to any assessor.
The questions are simple and may be answered in few words. Following directions on the blanks and answering to the best of one's ability will greatly in a correct agriculture census, and bring to the farmer's mind or knowledge facts concerning his own operation to be improved upon or abandoned.
