Calif., particularly Orange-co, will be able to ship until Nov. 10-15, according to G. W. Sandilands, manager of the Anaheim Orange & Lemon Ass'n. No final closing date has been set or can be set, said Sandilands, all depending upon Florida and the state of the market. Florida is benefiting also by waiting until its fruit is thoroly mature. Sandilands' view is that shipping won't be finished this week or next, as things look now. This is very much the exception of other years, and Nov. 1 always has been considered the beginning of the new season. Prices rose yesterday and again today, and a strong market to the end is confidently anticipated. The top auction mark yesterday, $9.45, at New York, was among the best prices of the season, while four other lots on the same market brot $8 to $8.70. Several markets passed the $7 mark. With prices up, the packing association would be foolish to stop shipping yet, says Sandilands. The associations appear more likely to hold out now than the independents. DOLAN WILL FILE SUIT THIS WEEK NEW YORK, Oct. 29.—Papers in the proposition suit against Commissioner Kenesaw M. Dolan was banished from the Giants' club following charges by Jimmy O'Connell, outfieldder, that Dolan sent him to Heinie Sands, Philadelphia shortstop, with an offer to throw a game to the Giants. The suit may also contain a demand for damages for alleged Commissioner Kenesaw M. Landis to force him to pay Cozy Dolan a share of the New York Giants' world series money will be filed in federal court this week. It was said here today by William J. Fallon, attorney for the former coach.
