HEATING SYSTEM
SPECIAL FEATURE
The first system of its kind to be installed in Anaheim, the heating apparatus of the Christian church to be dedicated tomorrow, and is the work of the Industrial Engineering and Equipment Co. of Los Angeles. Gas as the fuel, condenses the water into steam and the air is fanned by the hot steam pipes through a big conduit pipe to an air chamber about two feet in depth under the entire floor of the auditorium. The warm air is permitted to escape in about 60 different outlets in the floor making an equal distribution of heat. It must be seen to be appreciated. The openings in the floor for distributing the heat are very like huge mushrooms.
The big task is to fix a border that won't make North Ireland feel like a boarder.
Doubtless there are mothers who wish the self-service idea would get to modern daughters.
It is estimated that there are yet two of Europe's affairs in which we haven't mixed.
CHURCH CHAIRS
COME FROM EAST
The fine, upholstered chairs in the auditorium were supplied by the Steel Furniture Co., of Grand Rapids, Mich., manufacturers of folding, bow back, side and upholstered steel chairs for churches, auditoriums and school buildings. Their California representative, Mr. J. L. O'Brien is exceptionally proud of the handsome chairs of which there are 623 installed.
ART GLASS IS RARELY BEAUTIFUL
The handsome art glass windows in the main auditorium is the product of the Los Angeles Art Glass company. Each carries an exclusive design appropriate to its use in the church and reflects credit upon the above firm. Of leaded glass the plan is consistent throughout the whole building. The harmonious grouping of color panes adds wonderful beauty to the exterior as well as the inside.

GREAT EDIFICE VERY PRACTICAL
Continued from page one while numberless cupboards, closets and shelves line the walls. The coffee urn is placed at the end of a long serving table in the dining room.
Gas provides fuel for a furnace with a circulatory system of steam distributed in a manner to carry the same degree of temperature to all parts of the building.
The fine edifice is a three story structure of stucco exterior. Main floors are of hard wood. More than half a dozen entrances to the church are provided, one of the most important being the ramp on the west side for use of baby carriages or elderly worshipers who may thus avoid the front steps and reach the seats in the auditorium with greatest convenience.
As the writer reflects upon the first visit to the Christian church made about four years ago, a vision of the homely but honey little frame house of worship arises; its interior walls cracked with service of many years, its close and friendly pews, its rostrum hung with curtains and furnished with tables,—for this was a festive occasion—it seems centuries must have elapsed between then and the visit to the magnificent building which

INTERIOR TINTS IN HARMONY
All interior painting and decorating of the new Christian church is done by the John McFadden Co., of Santa, Ana. The auditorium walls are in tiffany effect, a perfect blending of palest flesh and soft buff, indistinct in color, but marvelously attractive in shadings. With the driftwood grey of the casings no oak of the hardwearing it is difficult to think more pleasing eye.
