An important meeting of the executive board of the Woman's club is called for Thursday, Aug. 14, at the clubhouse at 2:30. The Woman's club will be hostess to the Associated Chamber of Commerce on the evening of Aug. 28. Arrangements for the dinner and other matters will be the business of the meeting.
The Misses Luella and Enalie Overman and Mary Ellen Ingills who have been spending their summer vacation in So. Calif. at the Burt Hampton Home left Sunday for their home in Lincoln, Neb.

The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs. J. A. Snody of La Habra. Miss Chambers was very charming in her grey gown with hat and shoa to match. The young couple will make their home in Los Angeles.
Miss Chambers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Chambers of East Second-st, La Habra, coming here a year ago with her parents from Duncan, Okla.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Finley of Duncan, Okla., and has lived in Los Angeles for the past year.
The romance of the young couple dates back to school days in Duncan, Okla.
