TO SAVE MILLIONS TO CITRUS GROWERS Savings of more than $4,000,000 annually, it is estimated, will be accomplished by a new process to prevent shrinkage and withering of citrus fruit while in transit to market and to control blue mold, announced by the California Fruit Growers' Exchange. The process is recommended to member associations and not adopted outright by the exchange. The fruit is coated with a thin, glossy, transparent preparation which greatly prolongs the life of the fruit. E M. Brogden, formerly of Florida, now of Co. Calif., is the patent holder. The fruit while being washed in the packing house is laid in a solution to control blue mold and then put into a coating of paraffine. See Sebastian's Removal Sale Announcement!
