Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Knight entertained Mr. and Mrs. Gen Knight and family of Huntington Beach on Thursday and Friday. They all visited Mr. and Mrs. Knight, or at San Bernardino on Thursday.
Mrs. R. B. Greener and family left last work for their new home. They were accompanied by Mrs. Hylda, Brancher and they leave many friends here who rejoice in their good fortune but were sorry to have them leave.
Miss Dessa Jepson lost this week for Pasadena where she will be the guest of relatives until her marriage to Mr. William Kentley of Taft which will occur at Pasadena, June 30th. Miss Jepson has taught in the Yorba Linda schools for the past 10 years and has a large circle of friends who wish her much happiness. Several courteses have both extended her since the announcement of her marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Miller were host and hostess at their home on Tuesday evening to the local Farm Bureau members, Dainty refreshment were served.
Mr. Frank Shepherd and Mr. Chas. Doppler spent this week at Palo Alto and took in the closing exercises at Stanford Miss Shepherd and Miss Nelle have returned with them for the summer vacation.
Mr. and Mrs W. S. Nicholson have been enjoying a visit from their son, Mr. Howard Nicholson and wife of San Francisco the past week.
Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Selover and daughter and Mrs Delia Miller were guests of friends at Pasadena on Sunday. Mrs. Miller remained for a 10 days' visit.
Miss Clarico Jacobs, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs Ed Jacobs was united in marriage in Thurman.

The Ways and Means committee of the Y.L.Woman's club gave the sixth and last of the series of card parties at the Woman's club house on Saturday evening A polly time is reported and when high scores for the six parties were added it was found the ladies had won high score by 520 points. The men took their defeat in a worthy manner and adjourned to the kitchen to plan the party the losers were to give the winners After some discussion it was decided the men would give a card party there weeks from that night to the ladies in the club house and furnish the "eats".
