THE WOMAN'S PAGE ENTION IN INVESTIGATION CALLS MERGE NUMBER MOTHER LEAVES STALLED AUTO TO GET AID; FOUND MURDERED TRIUMPHAL ENTRY RECORD, PROPHECY Dr. Geirsinger spoke at the White Temple Sunday morning upon "The Increasing Triumphal Christ," taking as his text Jolie 12:19. The triumphal entry of Jehovah into Jerusalem, the religious capital of the old world, is both record and a prophecet. It is a word of a high moment both in life of our Lord and in that of the people of his day. It is less true that many acclaimed "Son of David" and cast their actions beneath his feet, from nib-appreciation, expecting blind deliver Israel from the rule of hated Gentile. Yet it is impossible to believe that there were come even in that popular, thinking strong who saw clearly and really understood and for swift moment caught sight of and the divine order of the coming upon the earth. In swift, apocalyptic moment they must have been for some of the vision of the King in his beard and the land that is far off. But the incident is rather phetic. The triumphal entry still an unfulfilled prophecy in process of being fulfilled. I am not desirous of speaking the church this morning. I much can be said for the chapel and its service to the race as labored variously for human terment. But I am thinking something far more important than that. Nor am I desirous of consisting the spread of western civilization. Though that is one of hopeful signs of the times, after all discount has been taken for the materialist and brutal unlovely aspects of our civilization of power and acquisitiveness yet remains true that the state of western civilization has liberty and comfort for the man and the enrichment of life. Nor do I wish to consider old question is the world go Mrs. Maude Bauer in her wedding gown. Every one of a score of trails followed by New York police in investigating the murder of Mrs. Maude Bauer has led up a blind alley. Unusual circumstances surround the crime. While out driving with her children and another woman, her automobile broke down. A man drove up and offered to take her to a farmhouse to telephone for aid. With a parting smile to her loved ones, she got into the car and it moved off. A short time later her bleeding body, beaten and shot, was found alongside the road. MR. EDWARD Y.: The woman whose letter you sent me was not advertising for a husband. She morse. I think back over the days when we were sweethearts and when she blessed me as a father. But when the children were nearly grown up I became more appreciative. Every lie I told her she trusted and believed and each one seemed easier to tell. The evil influence grew until I felt guilty I left my home and family. Now as I dream back over those days, I can see that same flower hot as I picked it, but careworn and sad; not the picture of my sweetheart, but of a broken-hearted wife. She is dead and I am sitting here alone just waiting for the sun to go down never to shine again for me. I killed the only one in the world who truly loved me. There is but one true love in this world for each of us. Men do think twice before you give up the mother of your children for a butterfly. DYING FROM REMORSE. I only wish that people making mistakes would profit from the experiences of those who have suffered. Thank you for writing. ERRING SISTER Dear Mrs. Thompson: I am a girl of 18 and have a sister who is 16. I can see many things about my sister that could be changed for the better, but mother seems to have the idea that she is perfect and nothing I say has any weight. Sister is a mean little thing and just as cross as she can be to her girl and boy friends. I think she ought to be taught courtesy, but mother says she will get over her disagreeable ways when she is older. She and I have very different dispositions, because it is as hard for me to be grouchy as it is for her to be sweet. I don't feel superior because I have a lot of friends and she few; I merely feel I was more fortunate in the disposition God gave me. GREEN AND WHITE IS COLOR SCHEME OF FLANNEL LIQUED ON RED ROADCLOTH COAT knocking him to make myself good in her eyes. I am not dependent on my people for anything and have means of my own. I have known the girl I am writing of since she was a little girl going to school and I know that she will be a good and true wife to the right man. Her mother knows the game he is playing and has tried to make the girl see as she does, but she is making the mistake of being loyal to one not worthy of the name of friend. What would you advise? Shall I tell her the double game he is playing, or let time tell the tale? My impression of him would not look well in print and it would give me great pleasure to give him the reward fellows of his type have coming. R.E.L. The girl seems determined to work out her own experience. Since her mother has warned her, I would advise you to stand silently by and watch the game. When she learns her lesson she will turn back to you because she will realize your loyalty and will appreciate your silence and readiness to help when she asks for aid. Whatever you say against the other man will sound like jealousy to her, and will not convince her in the least. A FADED ROSE Dear Mrs. Thompson: I have been reading your experience letters and can only say they mean more to me than the Teapot Dome does to the New York stock exchange. Before I tell you my experience allow me first to tell the kind of girl I chose to be my life partner. She was one of those sweet little girls that had a smile and glad hello anytime, anywhere. She was young, representing a flower and I plucked the flower when it was yet in bud, only to neglect to keep it blooming with kind words and deeds. She was my boyhood sweetheart and I loved her dearly. She also loved me, which she surely proved when she became my wife. But I had a butterfly who in- is perfect and nothing I say has any weight. Sister is a mean little thing and just as cross as she can be to her girl and boy friends. I think she ought to be taught courteasy, but mother says she will get over her disagreeable ways when she is older. She and I have very different dispositions, because it is as hard for me to be grouchy as it is for her to be sweet. I don't feel superior because I have a lot of friends and she has few; I merely feel I was more fortunate in the disposition God gave me. My sister cries herself to sleep many a night because her girl friends have gone to a school party with boys and she has to stay at home because no one invited her. She is quite a pretty little thing except for her mouth, and that is pouty, and she rarely smiles. I love my little sister and always have and I would like to help her. What would you advise me to do? DISTURBED BETTY. Since you have failed to help by expressing your views, I would advise you to keep silent for a while and watch for a golden opportunity to talk to your sister alone. Perhaps some time when she is crying you can have a little talk with her and tell her what you consider stands in the way of her popularity. Be careful not to say too much or to preach. Then after you have had your say, do not refer to the matter again. Your sister will be given food for thought and even if she is not immediately helped I am sure your words will have weight and in time she will see the wisdom of your advice. M. P. and B. K.—Buy larkspur at the drug store and steep a strong tea of it. Then wash the hair thoroughly with the tea and let it dry on. An hour or two after the hair has been dried, rinse it in clear water and dry it again. Then comb it thoroughly. Speak to the mother of the children. It will do little good to remove the trouble from part of the family when doubtless the whole family suffers. This handsome three of white flannel is embroidered a check design in green straight, one-piece frock tuck just below the long row of buttons trimmed of the frock. IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY EVENT IS A WEEKLY FOR am I desirous of considerthe spread of western civilization. Though that is one of the fewful signs of the times. For for all discount has been made the materialist and brutal and lively aspects of our civilization power and acquisitiveness, it remains true that the spread western civilization has meant unity and comfort for the masses the enrichment of life. DOor do I wish to consider the question is the world getting war. I believe it is. Man has need in his mastery over mateinstruments. He has done joy with innumerable drudgerness. He has increased his fund of knowledge and spread popular editions. He has learned to co-opand to control social forces, has advanced in the sciences dealing with sanitation. He developed many humanitarian perceptions and sent his Bible and gospel over the earth. He has been away from much in the way humanism and ignorant faith all of these things are gained virtual as well as material. But I am thinking of something together different when I speak the increasing triumph of Christ, the world. I mean to say that time has ought it about that from the accident to the Orient. Our writ is increasingly thought of the Savior of the world. He is the Living Christ in the ought of the world today and he whole world has gone after him. In a way entirely peculiar himself he is the Savior of mankind. I mean this is the most real and real manner. His Servon on the Mount Hie Prayer, His Golden Rule, His Liness and Personality, His Death, His Resurrection are the mightiest facts of the spiritual life not of some men and women but of all men and women, whether or not they be believers. He has taught the world to pray REEN AND WHITE IS COLOR SCHEME OF FLANNEL SUIT Wonderful New Easter Millinery at remarkably low prices at the PARISIAN MILLINERY 209 E. Center St. and not to faint. He has made prayer a reality for millions. And when men pray they pray as He has taught them. Take his prayer, the Lord's Prayer as we call it. There we have Jesus way of feeling about the world. He always saw God the Father back of all things and in an thru all things. There is a soul, a meaning, a purpose, a love back of all things. That love is our Father. So He teachers us to think of all mankind as akin to God and as one Brotherhod. You cannot think of prayer without being challenged not simply to ask for forgiveness but to grant it. He makes us all more forgiving. Nor can you think of that prayer without braving yourselves to conquer evil in your own hearts and in the world. The teachings of Jesus and the bearing of his life is to make all philosophy and all science and all education ever and to enlargen all of our ideas of man's life and duty and destiny. There are two major movements in the life mankind today. One is for the humanizing of all industrial conditions and the other is for the spiritualizing of all our international relations. And both of these movements reveal how certainly the ideas and spirit of Jesus are leaving all life. We cannot describe the spirit that does not time without saying that in it we see the influence of brain in breaking down man's alienation from God, in bringing altogether a reconciliation between man and God, and thus breaking aside saving the souls of men from sin. This is the fact that this day emphasizes: The whole world is going after Him. If Christ were taken from our life today and all the influences that strengen from his heart, it would be like the loss of the sun to the material order. A hideous chill would sweep over the spirit of mankind and despair would settle down upon the hearts of all of us. It is not possible to exaggerate the grace and truth that have come into the world and that continually come into the world thru Him. And for all this let us be grateful. Let us not turn away from him. Let us keep our hearts and minds open to Him. Wonderful New Easter Millinery at remarkably low prices at the PARISIAN MILLINERY 209 E.
