PLACENTIA C. C. MEETING TUESDAY PLACENTIA, March 14—(Spl) The C. of C. will hold its second big get-together boosters' meeting at the Placentia theatre Tuesday at 7 o'clock. The meeting is to be an informal affair and combination entertainment for the benefit of the sign committee who has about $200 yet to raise for the payment due on the four month electric signs that have been ordered from a Los Angeles firm to be placed at strategical points on roads leading into Placentia. The Placentia C. of C. has been very active since its inception less than three months ago. It now boasts 225 members and a goodly sized budget well subscribed for, and it is fast eating big slices into its 1924 program. This second meeting of the members is expected to bring out a full representation, in so much as there will be provided a snappy comedy, a real feature picture, some excellent music and a good intelligent and interesting talk by one of the harbor boosters' experts on "What the Development of Orange County Harbor Means to Orange County." A nominal charge for the entertainment is being made of only 35 cents, and already over 225 tickets have been purchased by Placentia district boosters. The theatre will accommodate 400 persons. Placentia is to be congratulated upon the fine turnouts its citizens are giving the C. of C. meetings. The sign committee also reports that the Automobile Club of So. California will put up the new signs regarding the two-hour parking system on Santa Fe ave., the main business street of Placentia. Already the new white lines have been put on the streets and the red non-parking ones established and painted.
