GELLER WILLING TO BE DIVORCED SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 17.—While U. S. Attorney John T. Williams today awaited word from Attorney General Daugherty as to what action should be taken in the case of Jack Geller, a movie director better known as Oaker, as a result of his admission that he had cashed naval allotment checks made put to "Belle Bennett Geller" Miss Bennett, screen and state star, thrust her attorney, Timothy Healy, promised to lay Geller's activities before District Attorney Brady. Miss Bennett admits having signed a "contract" with Geller in 1915 that they should "live under the same roof" but denies that she ever entered into a marriage relationship with the movie director. He claims the contract was followed by a marriage in Tia Juanna, Mexico, of which no record exists. In a statement for Miss Bennett, Healy declared Oaker had on occasions demanded money of Miss Bennett and "threatened to expose her unless she supplied him with funds." Healy said the contract merely provided that each would be held free from sentiment or interest in any other person. Geller, in a statement thru his attorney, declared he regards Miss Bennett, as his wife but realizes her love for him has cooled and is willing that she divorce him. PLANS TO KIDNAP ST. "New men cannot be made from old men, nor can a man be more out of various factors than other people," he said, in contending the prophecy of Dr. M. According to Dr. Burnett, it too early to draw conclusions to the results of gland transplantation, for where these extractions are injected, in some they may apparently aided the subject while in others no evidence of their success has been revealed as yet. It is his belief that, because the process and its study are still in their incipience, or preliminary and provisional clauses as to their effect may be reached.
