BUENA PARK BUENA PARK, Jan. 2 (Special).—Mrs. C. E. Ritter and children of Altadena are spending a week at their ranch home here. H. S. Horn was a business visitor to Santa Ana on Wednesday. The trustees of the school board are busy getting the finishing touches on the new school, so it will be ready after vacation. Plans are also being made to remodel one of the bungalows into a residence for Mr. Reed, who has been living at Garden Grove. Cleo, Ruby and Evelyn Nuttall of Fullerton visited over Wednesday and Thursday with their aunt, Mrs. W. R. Braly. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Owens entertained Mr. and Mrs. H. P. King of Hollywood and Mrs. Charles Tweeds and daughters of Pasadena over Christmas. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Beach, on Tuesday, were Mr. and Mrs. Scott Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Dush and daughter Dorothy of Hollywood, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Beach and daughters of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beach and children of Fullerton, Miss White of Corry, Pa., and Albert Koenig. R. H. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Storoy attended a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Storey at Placentia on Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lash and children of Court street were dinner guests of Miss Elizabeth Jones on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. I. H. McGee spent Monday in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Mrs. Frank Jones entertained with a dinner on Monday evening in honor of the birthdays of her husband and H. E. Richmond, who is connected with the "News." Coverers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Richmond and daughter Velma, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Snyder, Mr. Jones, and the hostess, Mrs. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Berkey and children enjoyed Christmas day with a group of relatives at the home of Mrs. Berkey's sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Coffman, at Whittler. Mr. and Mrs. Caryl B. Snyder had dinner at the J. F. Simpson house on Tuesday.
