Something to Remember
Real Good Gravy
Don't forget that the secret of making real, good gravy is KITCHEN BOUQUET. Purely a vegetable product, it makes real, good gravy of any gravy stock, bringing out its full flavor and giving it a deep, rich brown color.
Add a tablespoonful just before, taking off the stove.
Don't forget KITCHEN BOUQUET, use it often—probably you have it in your pantry, if not, ask your grocer for it.

LITTLE Miss Evyn Polhemus of Placentin-blyd., became 19 years of age New Year's day, and to celebrate such an important event, she invited ten of her young friends in for the afternoon. Among them was Miss Janet Frazier who has the same birthday and is the same age of the young hostess, so the affair became a double celebration.
The children engaged in contests in which Helen and Vera Hoskin- and Janet won prizes. They played games and had loads of fun until Mrs. Polhemus called them into the dining room. There they found a pretty decorated table with a lovely big birthday cake and its ten shining tapes in the center and individual birthday cakes, bearing candles, at each place. Ice cream and other delicacies were served.
The small hostess was the happier that her grandmother, Mrs E. M. Polhemus, of Los Angeles, who had been visiting here during the holidays, decided to remain over for the party. Many pretty birthday gifts were presented to Evelyn by her guests as well as her relatives.
Passing the afternoon with her Janet Frazer, Lois Wagner, Helen and Verna Hoskins, Eloise and Marten Wright, Evelyn Hardage, Edun and Agnes Teaggen, and small Dean Polhemus, brother of the little hostess.
