EXPECT GEORGE BACK IN POLITICS
LONDON, Nov. 8. Former Premier David Lloyd George is due in London tomorrow from his triumphant American trip and predictions were made today that he would plunge into active politics immediately with a view to regaining the premiership.
The Welsh statesman has become somewhat of a "man of mystery" owing to his failure to reveal his plans.
It has long been believed, however, that an issue was all Lloyd George needed to achieve his return to Downing street.
Premier Baldwin's new "protection policy" probably has furnished that issue. It is generally believed that Lloyd George will immediately plunge into the fray, taking up the cudgels in favor of free trade. In such event, he will become leader of the political group opposing Premier Baldwin and his policy.
There is a possibility that the protection fight may unite the liberal party which has been split in two factions for five years. Lloyd George leading one wing and former Premier H. H. Asquith the other.
A strong liberal fight is certain to attract many conservatives (Tories) who are only lukewarm toward protection.
Lloyd George is scheduled to make a speech immediately after his arrival tomorrow and it is likely he will then indicate his personal political policy. His associates are planning to meet him at Southampton and hold an important political conference.

H.S. NOTES
Bert F. Steelhead, journalism instructor at Anaheim high school, accompanied by Miss Constance Williams, Lloyd Ross and Bill Cettell, will go to Huntington Park tomorrow to attend a meeting of representatives of school papers. The meetings are held yearly and the local representatives will get ideas for their own publication. Mr. Steelhead will make a strong bid for the convention to be held at Anaheim next year.
Mrs. A. W. Swan was in Los Angeles recently and visited several schools, including the U. of C., southern branch. She obtained materials and data for her stage craft class. The Anaheim school has one of the best equipped stages for its size in the state.
Miss Helen Grafton, pupil at intermediate school, read a paper on Better English at an assembly recently. It was her own composition. Each year when Better English Week comes around, the English classes have charge of an assembly.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tipton of the high school are recovering from illness. Mr. Tipton is ground keeper and coaches and athletes are anxiously waiting for him to get the grounds in their usual fast shape, especially the grid and the basketball courts. He will have the field in shape for the game with Tustin tonight.
Miss Irina Young, star basketball player, has been forced to go around the campus on crutches owing to a dislocated knee received in a league canab tilt. The team is greatly handicapped. Miss Young will be unable to play for several weeks. However, she will be on the bench to root for her side when Anaheim and Pullerton tangle on the latter's court this afternoon.

Sperry Germea comes to your breakfast table primed for a show-me attitude. Because it is primed with good taste and good nourishment. Made from the "germ," the heart, the very life, of the wheat. WILL PAY DEBT OF GRANDFATHER
BOSTON, Mass., Nov. 8.—Traplist fathers in their cloister maintain absolute silence, celibacy, immurment from the world, poverty and a diet meager, almost to starvation.
In the great silence in the Cistercian Monastery at Cumberland R. I., Andrew Dennis, a young novice from this city, was smitten by the memory of a debt which his grandfather incurred and which his father was unable to clear.
Andrew Dennis decided to return to the world and pay the creditors every cent. He obtained a special dispensation from Pope Benedict, temporarily releasing him from his monastic vows. Today he entered the service of the city of Boston as assistant chaplain at Long Island Hospital. When the debt is satisfied and the family disgrace is erased, Andrew Dennis will return to his white habit and cowl.
