The fundamental improvement is the establishment of a conveyor system throughout, eliminating the costly and delaying shifts, changes, back trucks and handling that were necessary as the factory was previously arranged. By installation of almost entire new designs of tools and a conveyor system, it has been possible to establish a plant with a capacity of 500 motors daily, and in the same building install a complete axel plant taking the forged axle, finishing and assembling it and turning out enough for a production of 500 cars daily.
