INDIANS TO CONVENE IN CHICAGO SEPT. 24
CHICAGO, Sept. 17.—Many a wild aboriginal war-whoop will be heard, tepees and evening campfires will dot the landscape and tomahawks will be carried.

Many redskins will gather around the campfires and smoke the pipe of peace. Representatives of Indian tribes in tribal regalia will assemble here from all parts of the nation and participate in a pow-wow.

ROBS CONDUCTORS OF PACIFIC ELECTRIC
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17.—While deputy sheriffs and the police today hunted a "red fusee" masked bandit who held up a Pacific Electric car and a number of other holdup men who operated in and near the city during the night, J. J. Jensen, Lankershim grocer, reported at the sheriff's office that burglars had taken $450 in cash from his store.
According to Jensen, the burglaries found his money, which he had hidden behind a large ice box. The "red fusee" bandit placed danger signal flares on the track in front of a Pacific Electric car at Cahuenga and Palge avenues and robbed the conductor when he alighted to see what the troble was.
