OPENS STORE HERE That Anaheim is to have a branch of the Western Auto Supply, the largest company of its kind in the world, became known today when it was learned that George Pepperdine, president, had leased the store building at 132 South Los Angeles. Mr. Pepperdine, confirmed the report that the Western Auto Supply Co. is coming to this city and declared that every effort will be made to have the new branch open by Sept. 15. The Anaheim store, like all other Western Auto stores, will carry a complete line of auto supplies, tires, accessories and camping equipment. In fact it is to be a veritable automotive department store, each department a complete store within itself. The Anaheim store will add another link to the chain of this huge corporation with over 70 scattered throuts the west, extending from Denver to the coast and from Washington to San Diego.
