P. M. COMPLETES 2 SIGNAL HILL WELLS
The Petroleum Midway led the producer of the Long Beach field the past week with two completions that aggregated better than 10,000 barrels. On the Harlow property the Petroleum Midway's big well No. 4 completed at 4514 feet came in at 4000 barrels. The production of this big well registers 26 gravity and the oil is onshan. On the Robinson property No. 3 completed at 5322 is a 9000 barrel well making 29 gravity oil. The completion of the Robbins well marks the Petroleum Midway's first big success in the entrance of the deep sand of the Long Beach field. On the Fields lease No. 2 is nearing completion at 5000 feet and bids fair to give the northwest section of the field a new kind of oil well.
The second deepest oil well in the United States was completed by the General Petroleum Corporation on the K. & H. property at Long Beach. The record well was finished at 5395 and is making 1000 bbls of nice gravity oil. It required almost 1400 feet of McVoy screen pipe to take care of the oil bearing zone in this deep well and with that amount of oil bearing formation to produce from the well should also make a record for long life production.
Geo. P. Getty has succeeded in putting one of the first wells drilled on the top of the hill section of the field at Long Beach back on production. Getty-Herwick No. 1 at one time was down close to 200 feet but mechanical trouble compelled the coming back to 3608 feet and putting the well on production. Getty-Herwick No. 1 is making about 300 bbls.
One of the best producers the northeast section of the Long Beach field has yet produced is locked for when the Henderson Petroleum Syndicate puts iMills No. 1 on. Mills No. 1 was drilled to 5002 feet and from 1900 feet on the well looked like it would make good anywhere.
Stockholders on the Monrovia Oil Co. will be interested in knowing that their well on Signal Hill has recovered from a very difficult fishing job and that new hole is now in the making.

Stockholders on the Monrovia Oil Co. will be interested in knowing that their well on Signal Hill has recovered from a very difficult fishing job and that new hole is now in the making. It is the intention of the Monrovin Oil Co. to go down to 5006 feet or thereabouts and pick up the deep sands that has made the Shell Company's Andrews and Alamitos wells gushers. The Monrovin Oil Co. is being drilled by the McKeon Drilling Company, a concern that needs no apology for its work.
The Northwest Extension well had a little set bark when on drilling out the cement at 4:30 and making a little additional hole salt water was found. It is the intention of Bradock & Haslam drilling contractors to proceed ahead, drill more hole and test out the capacity of the salt water showing.
Interest in the field across American aves with the testing out of tech Regina Petroleum Corp.'s test well. The Regina stopped drilling at $150, landed a $1 oil string and will test out the possible production of the well. It is understood that the showings the past 200 feet would justify the bringing in of a commercial producer.
SUFFERED 20 YEARS WITH CRUEL ECZEMA
"Gentlemen; Words cannot describe the suffering that I endured for more than 20 years from Eczema on my limbs and feet. They were so sore and tender that I was obliged to have cushions put in bed to keep the bedclothes from touching me. After treating with different doctors without getting any real relief, my attention was finally called to Hokara. It gave almost instant relief. My limbs and feet were healed and the skin made soft white and pliable where before they looked like dried beef. I strongly advise anyone suffering from any skin disease to use Hokara. It is a wonderful remedy. Gratefully yours, A. Gray, Andover, Ohio."
Hokara is a non-grossoy, stainless antiseptic Cream that goes right to the source of the trouble through the pores. For sale at Heying's Pharmacy.

You Can Buy More Weight—But You Won’t Find a Better Car
In the Studebaker Big-Six you get all the performance, all the comfort, and all the dependability that any car can give—at a price that smaller producers cannot even approach.
The Big-Six Touring is a seven-passenger car with a seven-passenger motor and seven-passenger dimensions throughout. It distinctly is not a seven-passenger body mounted on a five-passenger chassis.
The Big-Six will take the steepest hills on high. It will maintain a high rate of speed over long stretches hour after hour. No car provides more restful riding—none is easier to operate. None is freer from frequent repairs.
Equipment is complete, even to an extra wheel with tire, tube and tire cover.
Its low price is due to large volume and to the fact that Studebaker overhead head is shared by three models—a sixes. Then, too, only one manufacturing profit is included in the Big-Six price because all vital parts are manufactured in Studebaker plants.
If you spend more than the Big-Six price you can buy more weight and bulkiness and pay more for overhead and operation, but you will not get better automobile.
Studebaker has been building quality vehicles for 71 years.

HARDING STRONGER FOR WORLD COURT
EN ROUTE WITH PRESIDENT HARDING TO POCATELLO, June 28. President Harding's advocacy of his world court proposal is growing stronger as he progresses thru the west on his long speaking tour.
Similarly his determination to force the issue when the senate convenes in December also is growing stronger.
When the president left Washington more than week ago the word was passed around in Republican senatorial circles, which are strongly opposed to the court, that Mr. Harding would make one speech on the court and then devote the balance of his speech making to domestic issues. But he has followed no such program.
Up to today the president has made more than a score of speeches, formal and informal, to audiences ranging in size from 50 persons gathered around the rear end of his train, to 15,000 in a packed hall, and only in three of them has he failed to mention the world court. In all others he has reiterated again and again the arguments in favor of America's joining the world tribunal, and he personally is convinced the appeals have not been without effect.
Rightly or wrongly the president believes a majority of the audiences he has addressed on the opoahal tour are in favor of the United States joining "some kind of a world court". The words are Mr. Harding's own. And he will continue, his advisers said today, to "peek along" in his advocacy of the court in the rest of the speeches he will deliver in the northwest before his audiences.
Today found the president enroute to Idaho for two speeches to the constituents of Senator William E. Borah, one of the severest critic of his administration.
The president will speak at Pocatello about noon and at Idaho Falls late in the day.
The president came out of the sage-brush country of Southern Utah late last night after an automobile trip of 150 miles over newly made roads six inches deep in duot.
