HEIRESS BEATEN AND JEWELRY TAKEN LOS ANGELES, June 12.—With two young business men under arrest charged with beating Miss Thelma Rodher, 19, Denver heiress, and robbing her of $3000 in jewelry and $25 in cash, after beating her companion, Roy Page, also from Denver, deputy sheriffs today searched for the young woman's jewelry. The two men under arrest are Raymond Remington and Donald Hadley, who according to the sheriff's office, with two girl companions, lured Miss Rodher and Page to a lonely spot in Beverly Hill known as magnet hill and thore beat Page into unconsciousness and also beat Miss Rodher when she went to Page's assistance. Miss Rodher told the officers that she and Page met Remington and Hadley and two girl friends in downtown cafe and after making friends someone suggested they go for an auto ride. C. C.
