This is the cry of Mrs. Clara Phillips, "hammer murderess," returned from Honduras to serve her penitentiary sentence at San Quentin, Cal., for killing Mrs. Alberta Meadows. Mrs. Phillips was captured in Honduras as she and a male companion were about to engineer a revolution designed to moke them rulers of that country, officials assert. Her companion is held in Honduras.

Uncle Sam's new Barling bomber with workmen tearing down the scaffold erected to support triple wings while under construction.
Uncle Sam's new triple planed Barling bomber is said to be the largest plane of its kind in the world. Recently completed it will have its first tests at Wright Field, Dayton, O. While under construction a huge scaffolding was erected to support the triple wings of the giant craft.

Thousands of persons were left homeless and enormous property damage was done in the recent flood which inundated much of Oklahoma City, sweeping houses from their foundations and threatening the lives of the dwellers. These photos show how portions of the city looked after the flood.
Failure of dykes designed to prevent such floods to hold the high water made conditions worse. The water, when released by the breaking retaining walls, swept all before it.

Refusal of the French senate to try Marcel Cachin, communist leader, accused of activities against the French government in the Ruhr district, has brought about a grave political crisis in France.
