BREA NEWS ITEMS BREA, May 19,—(Spl.)—One of our popular young ladies of Brea decided to take upon herself a partner and last Tuesday a party composed of A. D. Kewish, wife and little daughter Cliffa and the prospective bride and groom motored to Los Angeles and the ceremony took place at 1 o'clock in the Presbyterian church, the pastor officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barker of Los Angeles were in attendance, also to witness the wedding. The bridal pair were married with the ring, and Mr. Thomas C. Holyoke of Huntington Park and Miss Elizabeth A. Kewish of Brea were the happy couple. The groom was dressed in a grey suit, and the bride in white satin, the best man and woman were Mr. A. D. Kewish and his wife. After the wedding they returned to Brea where Mother Kewish on S. Walnut-st. had prepared a delicious 2-course 4 o'clock luncheon. Decorations were beautiful "center piece of pink and white" roses. Another fine feature was that all of the Kewish family were home for the luncheon. "Ready to Build"? then the logical thing is to buy a lot ready to build upon. Consider seriously and get the real information on these items in your purchase of a lot. Are all improvements in and if not, when will they be installed? Is the lot level and up to the sidewalk grade or will it require filling at considerable expense to make it presentable? Will the soil grow a good lawn and shrubbery or will good top soil have to be filled in to get the desired results? Is the lot low and subject to infundation under overflow conditions? The few remaining available lots in PALOMAR TRACT are ready for you right now with sidewalks and curb in; gas, water and electricity ready on application; sewer contracted for and ordered in at once by the city.
