JUNE BRIDE IS COMPLIMENTED IN HAPPY MANNER A POPULAR June bride-elect, Miss Marie Schacht, was given a pretty courtyard last evening when Miss Allison Adams entertained in her honor. She was attractive in her white frock and veil of mosquito netting and a shower bouquet of onion tops. The groom, Mildred Kemp, was very bashful, and entered rather unsteadily. Miss Alvina Joost curled the presacher who tied the knot. After the ceremony congratulations were bestowed upon the couple, Gaffes were then played. Miss Adams brought a large wash basket holding pretty tied gifts that were joyously opened by the bride-to-be. The packages revealed many pretty gifts that will find an honored place in the new home. Refreshments were carried out in a heart design, Miss Adams having brick ice cream with the heart center and heart shape cookies. Honoring Miss Schacht were Mrs. O. H. Mitchell, Mrs. E. A. Wadsworth, Mrs. Margaret Cronke, Mrs. H. O. Henderson, Long Beach, Mrs. J. Pasehall, Misses Mildred Jordan, Mildred Kemp, Leona and Katherine Van Boovan, Mabel Ziegler, Carrie Peterson, Alvina Joost, Elba Steffens, Francis Adams and hostess, Miss Ailsen Adams.
