COAST HIGHWAY IN COUNTY SOON BUILT
Indicating the near approach of the work of constructing the coast highway link between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, the division engineer of the State Highway Commission, on instructions from N. T. Edwards of Orange, soon will set stakes for a fill across Newport Beach tidelands. The fill will extend from the edge of the Newport Bay channel east of the Orange-co Country Club to the road now on the southeast side of the bay lowlands. The county will build the bridge across the arm of the bay. The route from Huntington Beach to Serra may be graded within a few months, but not paved for two years.

BACK GIVES OUT
Plenty of Anaheim Readers Have This Experience
You tax the kidneys—overwork them—
They can't keep up the continual strain.
The back may give out—it may ache and pain;
Urinary troubles may set in.
Don't wait longer—take Doan's Kidney Pills.
Anaheim people tell you how they act:
Mrs. A. Steafather, 415 E. Charteres St., Anaheim says: "We am glad to recommend Doan's Kidney Pills, for I have used them with good results. My kidneys caused me to suffer with backache and I felt dull and tired out. My kidneys were irregular in action, but I used Doan's Kidney Pills and they stopped the backaches and regulated my kidneys. I felt better in every way and advise anyone having kidney trouble to give Doan's a trial."

GERMAN TRADE AROUSING CONCERN
BUENOS AIRES, March 16.—The German trade offensive in South American countries, and particularly in the Argentina, proceeding tenaciously along lines prepared by the German imperial regime, has reached a stage which is causing grave concern to North American and English importers.
Three German passenger and merchant ships enter the port of Buenos Aires weekly, the black-white-red flag of imperial Germany, which the Teuton ships refused to discern in favor of the republican emblem, fly in every important harbor on the east coast, and less often but with regularity in west coast ports.

"COME ON OVER" AT UNITED TWO DAYS
A new Rupert Hughes comedy, produced by Goldwyn, "Come On Over," will be screened at the United Theater for 2 days, beginning tonight. It is a breezy, wholesome, chucklesome story of an Irish lad, Shane O'Mealia, who seeks his fortune in the United States, leaving Monya, his sweetheart, to be "sent for out," when he lands a good job. Shane is unfortunate and loses job after job.
The years go by and Moyna is brought over by friends. She thinks Shane is in love with Judy Grady and there is a great to-do until they are swept into each other's arms at a contest of old Irish dances.

FOR LEFIGHT
Senor B. Rod of a fight of the race match in the decision Argentine, on the ground that his opponent, Alex Kelly, a Panamanian, has just begun to fight.
The referee couldn't see the argument that the visitor was "holding back" until his opponent had spent himself.
There had been a fairly even fight for the first four rounds, but in the fight the Panamanian stepped out to finish the fight and the referee stepped in and stopped it.
The public, although accustomed to the rankest fight decision, was so indignant that the Argentine fighter
