The man is out of it but the ladies' and the young folks are offered a service, that for its exclusiveness has no rival in northern Orange county. A trip through the different departments of this store is entertaining and instructive. Here Wherever I go, I look for new surprises and modern innovations, in my walks through the great department stores. Here in Anaheim as I strolled through the splendid shop of Falkenstein's Dept. Store, the most forcible thing that occupied my attention was this—the dependability of their representations. This firm is of the most particular conservatism when it is necessary to remark to their clientage, some of the things that appertain to their system, their qualities or their undertakings. As Mr. Epstein, the manager, has told me. "We would prefer to understate a thing rather than to overstate it in the slightest degree." Such policy wins the confidence of the public and what could be better in the way of such service. Founded twenty two years ago by Mr. W. M. Falkenstein, this old and reliable concern has gone on through the years, building up its following of satisfied patrons; always expanding with the exigencies of the times and never for a moment forgetting that the public is their first consideration.
