TWINS, BUT FOR TWO YEARS, HAVE HAPPY SURPRISE A GENUINE surprise party was "put over" on Miss Nancy Louise Burrows, 13, and George Burrows, her brother, 15, whose birthdays come on the same day, by their mother, Mrs. C. W. Burrows. The daughter was attending a party in the afternoon, and although she knew of preparation for festivities at her home, she thought it was for her mother's church friends. The son, who obligingly assisted his mother at home, thought the affair was for his sister, so both were happily surprised. The party hours were from 7 to 10. Each honoree had a table from which were served a two-course lunchoon after jolly good wishes and games. Each table had a pretty centerpiece of pink and green flowers and candy cups were in pink. The tables were placed in the summer house, which was very prettily decorated for the occasion. The guests included the Sunday school friends of the two young folk and were the Misses Anna Brown, Norma Armbrust, Mary Louise Gott, Helen Smith, Eleanor Marsh, Roberta Elley, Thalia Carney, and Fay and Floy Ballou. The toys were Lee McKinney, John Eley, Sam Gott, Cleland Alsip, David Malibty, Robert Maltby, Melvin Burrows. The grown-ups were Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins, the latter Miss Naney's teacher and Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Malby, the former being George's teacher, Mr. and Mrs. L. McKinney and Mr. and Mrs. Burrows.
