MABEE AGREES TO MEET PENNSYLVANIA GRAPPLER IN MARCH
Roy Mabee has accepted a challenge to meet Jack Tagoson in one-half of a double main event to be held at Riverside, the early part of March. The exact date has not been set. Tagoson halts from Pittsburg and is rated as a whiz.
Marvin Wilson of Pennsylvania will take on Louis Pergantos in the other half of the double main event.
Tagoson is highly recommended and has tossed the light heavyweights in Pittsburg. "Day by Day in every way, Mabee is getting better and better." Roy is using a different form of wrestling. He is taking up the scissors fight, a la Ad Santel. Roy did some excellent work against Pergantos at Riverside the other night. He had his hands full as Pergantos is some man. At that the draw decision was the verdict.

Anaheim 130-Pounders Defeat Fullerton 21-17
Anaheim Hi boys, 130-pound basketball team defeated Fullerton in 30 minutes of hard fighting last evening, 21 to 17. The Anaheim lads had to fight hard to keep in the lead which they held from the beginning. The score at the end of the first half was 16 to 6. The Fullertonites rallied in the last period and made a close game.
Anaheim players were Hoch, Drake, Halsworth, Arnsbry, Sloop and Walker.
Anaheim second team showed little fight against Fullerton last evening until the last half. Coach Elliott boys scored 13 points in the last half, as also did the Fullerton lads. The final score was 311 to 13.
Anaheim: Bastlan, center; Giss, Sweeney, forwards; Shea and Beebe, guards. Easton and Hussmann were on hand to sub.
CHANEY MAY SHOW BEFORE L. A. CLUBS
Joe Chaney, clever and popular junior lightweight of local fame, is expected to be placed on the Hollywood or Vernon card soon. Match-makers of the two clubs are after Chaney's services. Joe has been on the shelf for several weeks due to a broken bone in his right hand but now that the injury is well mended Joe is ready to go again.
Chaney should make good on any card for he is an audience pleaser of the first water and as a clean ring performer as ever pulled on a glove. It is also reported that Chaney's services are in demand up north.
If Joe gets off to a good start in Los Angeles he will leave for San Francisco.
EXTRA GOOD CARD AT ARENA TONIGHT
The fight fan who attends tonight's boxing program at the local arena as arranged by Matchmaker Billy Darnley is sure of witnessing a real show. Each number, from the curtain raiser to main event, looks to be a feature. Manager Darnley has never felt so optimistic over a card and says if it does not prove to be the best ever at the local club then he will quit trying. The boys have all reported in good trim and there isn't a bout on the entire program that should be substituted.
Santa Fe Springs is coming over strong to root for Young Otto who meets Sailor Jack Lee, formerly of the good ship Idaho but now of our neighboring city, Orange. These lads are billed for the main go and as they are 170-pounders, a whale of a battle is being looked forward to. Orange as well is expected to send a large delegation.

110-POUNDERS PLAY TOMORROW
The 110-pound boys basketball game scheduled with Santa Ana some time ago, will be played at Anaheim tomorrow. These two teams are even in the league and a great battle is expected. Anaheim flea-weights will be in good trim as they played Fullerton this afternoon.
"PICTURE SHOW" AT ANAHEIM HI SCHOOL
George Hedstrom today gave Anaheim H. S. another of his series of "picture shows." Mr. Hedstrom secured a number of educational films and shows one each week. Today he gave pupils a little fun by showing Andy Gump. There was also a travelog.

Much also is expected of the semi-windup that good boy, Jimmy Douglag, of Phoenix and Geo. (Tiger) Lammerson, a former sparring partner of Battling Nelson. These two lads are lightweights and a hot go of it is sure to result as both are out to make good—Lammerson in a "comeback" and Douglas as a "comer."
A couple of ebony-hued artists are Cyclone Davidson of San Berco and Blackle Riee of L. A. They meet in the special event at 150 pounds.
The preliminaries appear to be out of the ordinary as well for when tough Tony Ross and Kid Rubio of Riverside tangle it is bound to be a fight. Young Kid McCoy and Young Lee of El Modena mix at 105 pounds. It should be a snappy affair. The curtain raiser brings together a pair of willing boys in Ernest Reece and Dick Brown at 135 pounds. Remember, the show starts at 8:30 sharp-rain or shine. Billy Darnley will referee all bouts which assures real lights and fair decisions. Let's Go!

Francisco shortly thereafter. Good fighters are in demand around the Bay cities. Dudley, the former colored flash is a big noise these days up that way. He never gets less than a main event or semi-wund-up.
Good luck Joe, and the more power to you, is the wish of every fight fan in Orange County as well as Anaheim.
