YOU CAN'T START ANY YOUNGER Placentia-Richfield Oil Co. Coming Back Many residents of No. Orange co., who invested in stock of the Placentia-Richfield Central Oil Co., will be interested to know that it owns two leases (14 acres), in the heart of the field that is bringing in some of the biggest producers from the deep sand at Huntington Beach. Three wells are now drilling, two of which are over 3000 feet and one at 2000 feet. The machine y is being used to commence the drilling on a fourth well. The company was organized in 1919 in the Richfield head, and a majority of the stock was taken by local investors. A well was drilled in the east end of the field which proved to be a dry whole, so wells were drilled in that immediate vicinity by the big companies without getting any production. Later, the officers of the company secured its present leaseholds at Huntington Beach, and a well was drilled to the top sand in which the tools were lost, and like many other wells there, has had sand and water troubles, and practically no production. Recently the tools were removed, and the well is now producing around 250 barrels daily. From the present outlook, the Placentia-Richfield Central looks like a winner.
