G. & L. LEASE G. & L. LEASE, Feb. 8.—(Spl.)—Mr. Howard Smith of Brea, and Miss Josephine McKaughn spent Monday evening with the latter's sister Mrs. Ray Dewitt of Los Angeles. Mrs. Frank McElhany and Mrs. G. S. Hanmore saw "To Have and to Hold" at the California theater in Anaheim Friday evening. Mrs. Walter Smith and Mrs. Isaac Mayfield were Anaheim shoppers Wednesday. Miss Iris Stone who has been sick is able to be up and around. Mr. and Mrs. Flickinger of Los Angeles have returned to their home after a few days visit with Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Delaney. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Mayfield spent Friday evening with the former's cousin Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davis of Olinda. Mr. Heath Hanmore of Buffalo, New York arrived here early Saturday morning to make this his home. His wife Mrs. Heath Hanmore has been here for about four weeks. They are now visiting with Mr. Hanmore's brother Mr. G. S. Hanmore and his father Mr. M. J. Hanmore of Placentia. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goss moved to their new home in Garden Grove on Tuesday, February 1st. Mr. Ludrow Dewilly of Bell and daughter Helen, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank McElhany. Melton Varner is confined to his bed with the flu. Dr. Utter of Anaheim is attending him and at this writing is improving very little. Little Doris Murray is confined to her bed with diphtheria while her sister Berniced is up and around again. Mrs. George Wimer of Long Beach and Mrs. Cardie Clegg of Santa Fe Springs spent Tuesday with their sister Mrs. W. E. Pope. Mrs. W. E. Outhouse is spending a few days with her sister Mrs. I. H. Barden of Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. George Wimer of Long Beach and Mr. and Mrs. W. E.
