HOUSE WARMING GIVES PLEASURE TO MANY GUESTS A HOUSE warming was held at the beautiful new home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baum, of 318 West Broadway which was unusually pleasant. Gay with holly and other greens appropriate to the holiday season, the rooms presented a most inviting appearance. The new home is of Spanish type, containing seven rooms, and a spacious porch, with garage and laundry. Every convenience possible is installed and a home of luxurious comfort is this. Cards were made the chief amusement of the evening, although music gave a good share of the pleasure. A supper was served at midnight, with covers laid for the Messrs and Mestames Bernard Dauser, Thomas Deitrich, August Baum, Robert Quarton, J. W. Heinz, E. J. Heinz, W. J. Heinz, Frank Gregor and Mrs. Joseph Dauser, all of Anaheim; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dauser, Mrs. F. X. Dauser, Miss Josie Dauser, of Fullerton, and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Baum. Mrs. L. R. Webb and Mrs. B. F. Spencer were Los Angeles visitors yesterday. Mrs. Alice McDonald of Los Angeles is the guest of Mrs. A. Leasa. Entre Nous Tomorrow Response to the invitation extended to Ebell club members to attend the Domestic Science card club, recently organized and named the Entre Nous, are coming in well to the Mesdames F. G. Peck, J. T. Lyon, R. B. Herman and H. R. Grove. It is the earnest request of these ladies that all intending to be at the party tomorrow afternoon, in the Elks clubhouse, communicate with these ladies not later than this evening, as substitutes must be secured should there be less than the required number for fifteen tables. Evangelical Y. P. The Young People's society of the Salem Evangelical church will meet tomorrow evening for the regular monthly business meeting and election of officers. Every member is requested to be present. Pastor and Family Arrive Rev. and Mrs. Sam Gott and family have arrived from Phoenix, Ariz., and are established in the A. Markel home, 205 South Citron-st. Rev. Gott is the new pastor for Calvary Baptist church. His arrival in Anaheim was about 6 o'clock last evening and with two of his children, he was present at the prayer service in the Spanish Mission church, which denomination uses for midweek meetings. Masons to Install An interesting evening is promised at the public installation of Masonic officer. The ceremony, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, will continue about an hour, followed by refreshments and dancing. J. T. Johnson, retiring master, will be installing officer. The new officers are E. E. Knipe, master; George Settle, senior warden; Guy Daniels, junior warden; Clyde Williams, senior deacon; Wm. Bruns, junior deacon; J. L. Adkins, treasurer; T. L. Hoag, secretary. EBELL PRESENTS POPULAR ACTOR IN PROGRAM THE Anaheim Ebell presents Fredrick Warde in "Fifty Years of Make Believe", Thursday, January, 11th, at 8 o'clock in the A. U.H. S. auditorium as a mid-winter courtey to the members of the boards of trustees and the members of the faculties of the Anaheim public school, and as a compliment to the friends of the Ebell. Admission will be by ticket only. All seats will be reserved. No reservations will be made by phone. Tickets will be distributed as follows: Two reserved seat tickets to guests of the club, the trustees and faculty of the public schools. Each member of the Ebell who has paid her dues for the year July, 1922, July 1923, will be given 6 tickets at the regular meeting of the club at the Elks club house, January, 8th. Crowd Visits Glen Ramsey The past week-end was most joyably spent by a group of ewho motored to Glen Ranch Soday evening returning home on Monday.
