Greetings: In expressing to you our great appreciation for your many business favors during the past year we wish to extend to you Kindest thoughts for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year B. Hartfield Jeweler 108 W. Center St. Anaheim RETLAW ARRANGES CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AT THE CALIFORNIA "A Very Merry Christmas to all Anaheim". This is the greeting extended to everyone in this city by California theater in announcing what is generally regarded as one of the most splendid holiday theatrical programs ever offered in this city. The big programs, starting tomorrow, have been arranged in such a way that Sunday's program will span alone, while the offering beginning Xmas Day will run for three days. Several very brilliant numbers feature both programs. The outstanding features for tomorrow's bill are Madge Bellamy and Gareth Hughes in the wonderful King Vidor production "Love Never Dies." Miss Bellamy will be remembered as the charming star of "Lorna Doone" which showed here recently, as well as other great successes. "Love Never Dies" is one of those dynamic romance-plays such as fans love to see, and glory in. The work of the entire cast aside from the clever interpretations of the two stars, is marvelous, it is agreed by all the critics. Another unusual feature of tomorrow's bill will be the first appearance in Anaheim for the Zimmermans, famous Alpine Yodelers. Swiss Yodelers are among vaudeville's most liked offerings, and The Zimmermans are past masters in their presentations. Be sure and hear them. Jimmie Aubrey, the noted comedian appears also in "The Tourist," and other features include another breathless chapter of "The Days of Buffalo Bill"; Yvonne Farr, diminutive soprano in a special Xmas stage offering, and also Marguerite Eves, organist in a special musical program. Starting Christmas Day, the brilliant 9-reel super-production "Trifling Woman" will hold sway on the California screen. Here is one of the most tremendous successes of the year. It comes to Anaheim directly. A great musical program has been arranged by Marguerite Eves, popular California organist, for her Xmas offering. An unusual stage presentation has been arranged also, and the program will include other worth while added attractions. Family Dinner Sunday Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Rains will extend the hospitality of their home to morrow noon when they entertain relatives with a family dinner. Covers will be placed for Mr. and Mrs. George Bogue, Mr. and Mrs. John Carpenter, Miss Anita Herzler, Miss Mona Rains and the L. W. Rains family. W. H. Spake of Paradena has returned to his home after a several days visit in Anaheim with his sister Mrs. L. Goble. We Extend to all A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR AND AN INVITATION TO VISIT US AT OUR NEW LOCATION Jimmie Aubrey, the noted comedian appears also in "The Tourist," and other features include another breathless chapter of "The Days of Buffalo Bill"; Yvonne Farr, diminutive soprano in a special Xmas stage offering, and also Marguerite Eves, organist in a special musical program. Starting Christmas Day, the brilliant 9-reel super-production "Trifling Women" will hold sway on the California screen. Here is one of the most tremendous successes of the year. It comes to Anaheim directly from a record-breaking run at Loew's State theater in Los Angeles. The star of this picture is wonderful Lewis Stone, one of the most loved actors on the silversheet. The remainder of the cast is par excellence also. "Trifling Women" was produced and directed by Rex Ingram, who gained great fame by giving to the world "The Four Horsemen". It is said by the nation's greatest critics that "Trifling Women" is the greatest picture ever made by Rex Ingram, or in fact any other producer. In order to accommodate the huge throngs which undoubtedly will wish to see this masterpiece Christmas Day, the California has arranged to present continuous performances beginning 3, 5, 7 and 9 o'clock, with every performance complete in every way.
