There will be an Xmas dinner at the home of W. J. Elliott on East Center-st. Monday, with J. S. Sheridan and family, and Leo J. Sheridan and family as guests. This is an annual affair.
Leonard Evans and wife were in Los Angeles yesterday.
Ernest Ganahl is to have as guests over Christmas his mother, brothers and sisters from Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Callahan of Long Beach expect to spend Christmas day with C. F. Grim and family of Anaheim.
Mrs. Fay Owen of Arizona is to be a guest over the holidays at the home of S. M. Kistler.
Mrs. H. A. Easton and daughter expect to leave Monday to spend the holiday season in Globe, Ariz.
Mrs. Estelle Ewing expects to leave Sunday for a winter vacation in Miami, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Rolla W. Cornell and family motored this afternoon to Los Angeles to spend the holidays with Mrs. Cornell's parents and sister. They expect to return on Tuesday, December 26th.
Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Malthy motored today to Santa Paula to spend the holidays with Mrs. Malthy's parents. They expect to return on Tuesday.
Dr. and Mrs. H. D. Newkirk and family will attend the matinee at the Hollywood Egyptian Theater this afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Nicholas and daughters will pass Xmas day with friends at Long Beach.

Mr. and Mrs. James McBride of Cypress are happily anticipating the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. McCracken, parents of Mrs. McBride, from Jacksonville, Ill. They arrived this evening and may be induced to remain over the winter.
Glenn McBride and Ozell Nutzmer, of Bradford, Ohio, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. James McBride, left for near Sacramento, where they will visit before returning home. These young men made a record breaking trip of more than 2000 miles in 16 days, from their home to Cypress.
W. A. Vivian of Bakersfield will be the holiday visitor of his sister, Mrs. W. H. Kidd of Orangethorpe, formerly of Anaheim.
Billy Darnley, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Darnley is home from the Orange-co Hospital and is getting along nicely. He will be able to return to school when the term starts again.
Mrs. H. J. Spence was in Orange to attend the P. E. O. Xmas party.
Miss Lucille Nenno who has been attending school at Pomona is home for the Xmas and New Year Holiday.
Mrs. Alberta Andrews, Mrs. Mary Doolin, and Mr. Sam Whitaker will go to Wilmington Christmas Eve for a holiday visit with Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Rogers and two little sons, Mr. Rogers is son and nephew respectively of Mrs. Andrews and Mrs. Doolin.
Mr. Hugo Klein, of Milwaukee, arrived yesterday for a visit at the home of Rev. and Mrs. F. W. Elger and family. Mr. Klein is an accountant and will probably locate in So.Calif.
Man named Wijclechowski has been named president of Poland, according to the unverified spelling of a European correspondent.
