7 REGULARS BACK FOR ANAHEIM HI TEAM NEXT YEAR
Manager Marlowe Jangs of the "Colonists," Anaheim H. S. football team, gives a review of the squad. This is the last year for a number of the men. Seven regulars will be in togs next year ready to go. Captain Al "Apes" Hile, diminuitive star, leaves the team this year. He was the maining of the squad and was always ready to boost his fellow employers. He was capable of taking any position on the team and should be given a chance for the all Orange-co eleven.
Roderick Brastad played center this year. He played on the skeeter team two years. Roscoe Ingram, a fighting guard, has played his third year.
Walter Gutosky started the first of the season after being off the team for two years, but after the first several games was out on account of a fractured leg.
Johnny Feetham and Homer Wallace, tackles, have been star players throughout the season. Wallace was the heaviest man on the team. Last year he subbed. Feetham played with the bantams last year.
Howard Mulvey and Victor Reeplayed good football. Mulvey played last year while this was the first season for Rees.
Rose was always on hand to snatch the passes from the opponents. Ross usually played quarter.
Anaheim boasted a fast backfield this year and the splendid playing he credited to Art Mann, Dana Newkirk, Jack Woods, Wilfred Hays and Gerald Fergus. Those boys all had considerable experience last year. Art is known for his splendid passing and could be relied upon to get the men INTERURBAN LEAGUE TONIGHT
Adams Radiators of Los Angeles will bowl the Anaheim team in the Interurban League on the local alleys tonight.
EL MONTE DEFEATS ANAHEIM 26 TO 25
By one point, Anaheim Hi school girls basketball team lost to El Monte last evening on the latter's court. The score was 26 to 25. This is Anaheim's first defeat.
Coach Irene Jacques and her girls went to El Monte overconfident and the team did not, put up the game it is capable of playing. Helen Daly, star forward, fell down on the job and Evelyn Cordes proved to be the heroine of the day.
The two centers played a hard game. The guards were rather slow about snagging the ball. El Monte remains undefeated by all the schools she has met and will endeavor to take the So . Cal. champ honors from Anaheim.
The girls started working out today, promising themselves they would not take another defeat.
LOCAL TEAM LACKS STUDENT SUPPORT
Anaheim girls basketball players, champs of So. Cal., last year, can't help but contrast the support of the student body at the basketball games at other schools and at Anaheim. Yesterday when the girls went to El Monte the student body there turned out en masse. At Anaheim when there is a game on only a few dozen faithful supporters can be counted. El Monte students cheered for their players. Anaheim was ahead until the last third of the game and when El Monte rallied

How long should lights stay put?
How long should a headlight test last without re-examination? How long can an electrician guarantee his adjustment to behave itself? These are some of the questions which the battery craft of the Orange-co Auto Trades Ass'n will thresh out tonight at a supper meeting in a local cafe.
With the Los Angeles authorities arresting Anaheimers and other Orange-co drivers and fining them, regardless of whether they can display a certificate of inspection or not, the situation has reached a crisis, according to A. Bevillard of the Anaheim Ignition Depot. Mere warnings or sending a man back to an official headlight testing station for another examination are no longer in vogue in Los Angeles courts. Fines are levied—small fines at present, larger ones to come.
Meanwhile the headlights of Orange-co cars are lapsing back into the same primitive state from which they were rescued when the county to have the law enforced. Thirty authorities announced their intent to have the law enforced. Thirty days appears to be the longest length of time that a lamp can be expected to remain in reasonable focus, unless the car in question sticks to the paved boulevards and escapes accident or severe shaking up.
STUDENT SUPPORT
Anaheim girls basketball players, champs of So. Cal., last year, can't help but contrast the support of the student body at the basketball games at other schools and at Anaheim. Yesterday when the girls went to El Monte the student body there turned out en masse. At Anaheim when there is a game on only a few dozen faithful supporters can be counted. El Monte students cheer for their players. Anaheim was ahead until the last third of the game and when El Monte rallied and started pilling up the score, the whole school stood cheering and spurned them on to victory. Another feature that the girls noticed was the fact that the enthusiasts waited a half hour for the Anaheim girls and then stayed for the game.
The girls have a game with Garden Grove Thursday and a capacity crowd is desired.

BUGS AROUSED BY
MEXICO-WILLIAMS
CLASH FRIDAY EVE.
Since the announcement that Kid Mexico has been booked Friday night in the main event, so much interest has developed among fight bugs that Manager Billy Darnley's "Fistic Emperor" should be packed to the guards by the time the opening gong sounds. Darnley has Mexico pitted against a real fighter who answers to the cognomen of Cycline Williams, and who is originally from San Francisco. He is a gen'leman of cultab', just about one of the roughest, toughest middleweights now showing anywhere on the coast.
Recently Williams has been down El Paso way where he met and defeated about the best men of his weight. He is on his way home and happened to drop off here in the hopes of picking up a small amount of easily earned Christmas money. Darnley told him that he had no one here at present good enough to give him "a fight" with the exception of Mexico and it was doubtful if Mexico would oblige.
However, Mr. Williams said to bring on the tough Huntington Beach mixer, the sooner the better, and when Mexico heard that, he at once accepted the darky's challenge. It is expected to be a battle worth going miles to see. Kid Mexico is, without doubt, the most unpopular popular fighter, that ever pulled a glove on hereabouts. His drawing powers as a headline attraction for any of the out of town clubs around Los Angeles is unlimited. He also is a main event performer at both the bigger city clubs. He always puts up a sensational scrap and the better the fighter he is fighting the better he likes it.
Williams is a hard hitter as well as the Beach town Idol and if one
