MONDAY, DEC. 4, 1922 THE ORANGE WILL ROGERS IN HIS FAVORITE ROLE "Everything comes to him who waits", according to the old maxim, and for once this came true in the life of Will Rogers, who plays the role of Ichabod Crane in "The Headless Horeman" or "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," the scheduled attraction playing at the United Theatre for two more days. It has always been, according to Mr. Rogers, his desire to play certain roles or represent certain characters in modern dramas. One of these was "Macbeth," the other was "Rip Van Winkle" and the last was Ichabod Crane in "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Sailors testified that he had been running a house of ill repute at Los Angeles Harbor. The pastor of the church and members of the congregation testified to Brown's good character. Meranda and daughters, Eunice and Miss Mona and Mr. Donald Cullen were town visitors Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. H. Schryer had as their Thanksgiving guests, Mr. Bill Schryer of the West Coast lease, Mr. James Hunker and Mr. Clyde Fairbain both of Olive. Miss Helen Meranda had as her guest over the week end Miss Bernice Walkup of Anaheim formerly of this lease. Miss Ruth Herd was also a guest of Miss Helen Friday.
