Joe Varga, Hungarian light heavyweight wrestling champion, is none other than Jack Padullo of New York. We don't know if his right name is Jack or Joe, but we do know that he is a physical giant. If he could wrestle from his eyebrows up as he can from there down, Roy Mabee or Ad Santel would not stand a show. Ad and Roy are great because they have very active brains.
Joe or Jack or what ever his name may be surely looked much better against Ad Santel Wednesday evening than he did against Roy Mabee Monday evening, and yet he merely show up Ad Santell's greatness. He was behind Ad over half the time and had Ad in danger time after time. It was in breaking these almost unbreakable holds that Ad proved his greatness.
Ad Santel secured the first fall in 51 minutes with his famous arm scissors and the second in 12 minutes with an arm key.
Our old friend, Carl Johnson, flopped Jack Bowers of San Francisco in 17 minutes with a head lock. Bowers was a good man and showed up how tough a man old Carl really is.
Now for the real and Ad Santel will world's light heavyweight ship, best two out of finish, Dec. 19th at Theater, Anaheim, ranglements have been mapping out his and we are telling world that it is going event, Santel is Roy that he is still while Roy is just prove that Santel is there are great real champion to make in Los Angeles in months. Anaheim Servicemen Defeat Santa Ana 3-0
Anaheim servicemen defeated Santa Ana 3 to 0 in an American Legion Turkey Day game on Poly field. The winning score was made by Ray Elliott who drop-knicked from the 35-yard line in the third quarter.
While the game was not accompanied by all the thrills of partisanship of an interscholastic contest, there were lots of good fun and some brilliant plays, as one after another of the old college stars uncorked a sample of what they used to do. Neither team was up on signals and frequent conferences were necessary.
Elliott made some brilliant passes cut few were completed.

The boxing event looks like a tertainment. Little from his past record Chancy a real battle event. Joe's last arena was by far ever shown to the concentrated his stance occasions and hit w force than he ever Monroe depends on cleverness than he power, so this little give the fans plenty I. F. D SANTEL
HERE DEC. 19
Now for the real news. Roy Mabee and Ad Santel will meet for the world's light heavyweight championship, best two out of three falls to a finish, Dec. 19th at the Fairyland Theater, Anaheim, Calif. All arrangements have been made. Roy is mapping out his training program and we are telling the whole broad world that it is going to be some event. Santel is anxious to show Roy that he is still the champion while Roy is just as anxious to prove that Santel is not.
There are great possibilities for a real champion to make some money in Los Angeles in the next few months. Santel expects to make L.A. his home in the near future.
If Ray can beat him then Roy will stand a show of reaping a rich harvest. There was a great crowd for the first contest to be held at the Philharmonic Auditorium in L.A. Wednesday evening. It looked bright for future contests. And if Roy could get the chance to be the bright drawing card he would be well repaid for all the hard work he has put in, in mastering the game. So you see this match is going to mean much, not only in honor, but in cents and dollars to the winner.

MONROE'S SPEED VS. CHANEY'S PUNCH TO ENLIVEN MATTERS

MONROE'S SPEED VS. CHANEY'S PUNCH TO ENLIVEN MATTERS
(By Sargum Sprout)
The boxing car at the arena this evening looks like another real entertainment. Little Frankie Monroe from his past record, should give Joe Chancy a real battle in the main event. Joe's last fight in the local arena was by far the best he has ever shown to the local fans. He concentrated his strength on several occasions and hit with much greater force than he ever displayed before. Monroe depends more on speed and cleverness than he does on hidding power, so this little meeting should give the fahs plenty of action.
I. F. Scotty Diest and Terrible Terry don't entertain too much respect for each other's heavy artillery, there will be a fight that will give the swat fan something to dream about. Scotty says that the Terrible one will not get a chance to bring his high powered stuff into action as Scotty is going to drive punches into the Whittier boy's face that he never will see Scotty.
Then there is Tex Jones with a great big desire to even up with that tough Indian Babe Orton. Tex slings a mean fist but Babe is the toughest kind of a guy.
Yes, and there is another argument to be settled Friday night between two of the best boys that have gone the paces in the local ring. Kid Louie is out to even up with Benny Hiller. The Kid's got some job on his hand.
There is two other good bouts on the card. Just look over this card. On paper it looks like the best card yet.
