Buy in Anaheim and vindicate your ideals for a greater and most prosperous city. The Oyster Loaf Cafe By The Mysterious Cowboy OYSTER LOAF The Oyster Loaf Cafe By The Mysterious Cowboy OYSTER LOAF Cafe THE FINEST CAFE IN ORANGE COUNTY Almost all of us have our eyes peeled for a quiet, cleanly and pleasant eating place. After all, our daily food is the thing that counts most of all in this world, and if you don't think so, just try to get along without it, or to be a little more indifferent about the quality of foods you eat—and then see the results. When first coming to town and walking along West Center street on a very warm day, the writer and a friend were attracted to a most inviting restaurant in the neighborhood. Outside of the door was a large electric fan, buzzing with great velocity and driving coolness into one side is the long immaculate counter of white glassy covering and with its twenty one stools. Then on the same side are seven tables in their white dress and shinning silverware. The other side is devoted to large and private booths—seventeen in all and with a seating capacity of sixty When first coming to town and walking along West Center street on a very warm day, the writer and a friend were attracted to a most inviting restaurant in the neighborhood. Outside of the door was a large electric fan, buzzing with great velocity and driving coolness into the place and the pests of the air away from the premises. We went inside and the pleasure of the first impression we carried away with us. The Oyster Loaf—that appetizing appellation—is the name of this house of cleanliness and quality foods. After a splendid meal with pleasant service the writer was taken through the establishment by one of the proprietors, Mr. Trefon Harrison. It is that type of high class restaurant—I mean handsome and so completely equipped—that one would expect to find in a much larger community. It is that kind of eating place because the partners—B. Gathas and T. Harrison are thorough restaurant men and because they want the best kind of restaurant to operate and finally because they consider Anaheim worthy of the best in their line. The restaurant is divided into two distinct departments. On one side is the long immaculate counter of white glassy covering and with its twenty one stools. Then on the same side are seven tables in their white dress and shinning silverware. The other side is devoted to large and private booths—seventeen in all and with a seating capacity of sixty eight. These boths are of handsome make, containing the very expensive birch table top. At the window on the booth side is a large table for motor parties. The floors are of tile; the decorations of walls and ceilings are pretty and an occasional vase of ferns will carry out a very harmonious scheme of things. It is the most attractive and best restaurant in Orange County; the coolest eating place in town with its many electric fans; select music all through the day by either the fine automatic combination instrument or the phonograph. The Oyster Loaf has been catering to the people for the past ten years and their reputation is praised wherever wholesome food is the word. They have fifteen employees. They have their own chickens to kill and to serve fresh. The best of foods are provided for and the service is always of the highest. CALIFORNIA PAGE THREE Of The City L. M. Railsback Co.
