WANTED—To by old clothes, shoes, valises, jewelry, etc. Will call at MRS. WALLIE REID AT THE CALIFORNIA Another triumph for the California theatre of Anaheim. This theatre will have as its stellar attraction tomorrow and Saturday none other than Mrs. Wallie Reid, in person in her famous Orpheum vaudeville act entitled "The Blue Flame." This is not a motion picture, but a very wonderful sketch, in which Mrs. Reid takes the principal part right on the California theatre stage. She comes direct from the Orpheum theatre circuit, and is accompanied by two other celebrities who appear also in her act. Everyone will want to see Wallie's wife. Before her marriage she was a famous star in her own right, known as Dorothy Davenport. She has starred in some very big pictures, but retired shortly after marrying Reid. It is expected that Wallie himself will be in Anaheim for this event, as it is a well-known fact that he is a very devoted husband, and when she appears near Los Angeles, he always motors out and brings her home with him, so Anaheimers will probably have the opportunity of seeing Wallie, too. The sketch in which Mrs. Reid appears is a crook story, and she takes the part of a clever rogue who has broken into a house to steal some valuable jewels. It is tense and exciting. Mrs. Reid appears in a glorious, brilliant hued gown, and her personality is radiant throughout. In conjunction with the personal interest of the point of beginning. That said, Board of Trustees did therein specify the exterior boundaries of the district of lands which said Board of Trustees therein determined and declared to be affected and benefited by said work and improvement, and to be assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof, as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the point of intersection of North Street with the easterly line of North Lemon Street and running thence northerly along said easterly line of Lemon Street and its extension across La Verne Street and La Palma Avenue, to its intersection with the southerly line of North Los Angeles Street; thence southeastly and southerly along the southerly and western line of North Los Angeles Street and its extension across La Palma Avenue and La Verne Street, to its intersection with the said northerly line of West North Street; thence westerly along said northerly line to its intersection with the extended westerly line of the North and South Alley in Block "E." Zeyn Tract Annex No. 2, as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, Page 24. Miscellaneous Maps and Records of Orange County, California, southwestern along westerly line of Alley and its extension to the northernly line of West Wilhelmina Street; thence westerly along said northerly line of Wilhelmina Street and its extension across Zeyn Street to the eastern line of the North and South Alley through Block "E" of said Zeyn Tract Annex No. 2; thence northerly along said northerly line of Alley and its extension to the northernly line of West North Street; thence westerly along said northerly line to the point of beginning. All of the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance to an act of the Legislature of the State or California, entitled "An act to provide for laying out, opening, extending, widening, straightening, or closing walls only in any shape, lane, alley, court or place within municipalities, and to condemn and acquire any and all land and property necessary on convenient for that purpose," approved March 5th, 1889, and all acts amendatory thereon or supplementary thereo. For further particulars reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Inquiry number 620 on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in the City Hall in said City. Dated at Anaheim, California, this 2nd day of August, 1922. O. E. STEWARD. Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim.
